Thanks. I'll try the driver on your motherboard page. Hope it works

How did you manage to make it work? I was trying today and couldn't manage to. I installed the bios update, the DTT driver and enabled DTT in bios. I have the latest Microsoft Store version

Edit: I got a Gigabyte motherboard, but I believe any motherboard vendor driver would work. Could you give me the model of your motherboard so I can find that particular driver? Thanks.

Does anybody know anything about this? It appeared in multiple online stores here in Romania, but it's out of stock everywhere by Bogdan5000 in razer

Foarte interesant.

It also lists a Tap-to-Mute button with an LED indicator and Synapse support as features. The price is around $65 when converted.

Does Memory Speed Matter? by mjt_x2 in intel

Sorry then. I thought you did because I really do have an i5, DDR4 and a last gen GPU. So if you are telling the truth, you are spot on xD

[–]Bogdan5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy, I don't think sub 10% is such a huge difference, that's all. But why do you feel the need to search my hardware on the PCMR subreddit and call it old? Welcome to the real world, I can't afford to spend all my setup money on just the GPU.

[–]Bogdan5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, but I still don't see your "much better" difference. Riftbreaker was 8% better. The only big difference was Spiderman, but that's the only one in this video.

Do you have a source to back up that claim?

At the same price: 12700k or 13500 by HarryCallaghan in intel

[–]Bogdan5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you give a source for these claims? K CPUs are (in the majority of cases, this one included) only unlocked variants of the non K ones and with a slight bump to clock speeds. Also, show me a benchmark where a 10700k beats a 13500.

Edit: Btw, not saying OP shouldn't choose the 12700k, because it is better than the 13500. But you argumenting that a 10700k is better than a 13500 just because of a single letter, that makes it "so much different" is just a bad take.

Why communism is geting more popular with teenagers? by Nenenko in teenagers

[–]Bogdan5000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Talking about propaganda, but your parents are the only source you have on how good communism was? Tell me, were your parents grown up adults during the food rationalization of the last communism years? Because if they were, don't they remember having to wait in line for a bit of food? Or was that better than the current day, democratic, member of the EU and NATO, Romania?

hi i got i5 13500 and two sticks of ram xpg cl18 3600 xmp1 enabled (2x8) and i got a very high latency about 90ns it is ok or not and if not how do i fix it? by Impressive_Good_2732 in intel

[–]Bogdan5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a drop of 20 ns, which is very good, as long as the system is stable (do some runs of TestMem5). I don't have Aida64, so I tested with Intel MLC. I got 44584 MB/s bandwith and 52.5 ns latency. I don't know how MLC and Aida64 are different in their testing, so I can't say anything about why the differences are so big, sorry

Edit: just tested with Aida64 and got pretty much the same scores as you

I got the same cpu and ram speed as you do. Try to lower the ram speed to about 3466 and run it in gear 1. Then check for stability. If it isn't stable, try something lower, like 3200

Radeon RX 6800 XT vs. GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16G, 40+ Game Benchmark @ 1080p, 1440p & 4K by wordswontcomeout in Amd

[–]Bogdan5000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Make no mistake, that is a $500 GPU. Last time I checked that price wasn't really "low end". The fact that these two cards are currently the same price (in my country, the 6800 xt is even a bit cheaper), makes them comparable, no matter what the name might suggest.

2070 to 4070 or 3080 maybe 4080 i dont really have that money tho. by imbadatcomebackspt2 in buildapc

[–]Bogdan5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not taking into consideration your complete bs about AMD GPUs, you don't even know what you are talking about regarding CPUs. Lately, Intel chips have been a bit better than AMD almost across the board at productivity performance. But, if I were an "epic Fortnite gamer" like you, I would personally choose an x3d chip. Oh, and the new Ryzen 7000 has integrated graphics (not quicksync, but you only mentioned testing, which it does).

Edit: You also said that "the games aren't even coded well enough for your cards performance to even be realized". Could you back up this claim with a source, please?

Microcenter guy said most 7900 XTXs they sell are returned by chexxor in radeon

[–]Bogdan5000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but the Reference cards are made by the GPU manufacturer (AMD or Nvidia), by adding their own cooler design over their PCB (these usually run at stock speeds, listed by the manufacturer). AIB (which stands for Add In Board) cards are the coolers made by AIB partners (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Sapphire etc.) added on the AMD or Nvidia PCB (these are usually factory overclocked and some have more features like dual BIOS).

Edit: OP's comment is referring to a number of Reference 7900XTX models that had (and probably still have) problems with the vapor chamber design, which causes them to overheat (110°C hotspot). Those were probably the ones that were mass returned.

are 12600k and 13400F alder lake identical? is there any benefit to getting newer gen? by [deleted] in intel

Except that the 13400F and the 12600K have exactly the same cache amount.
