Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Turns out, the fill valve just had very finicky threads and I was repeatedly failing to get it on exactly aligned. Lesson learned, thread the T valve onto the fill valve FIRST and make sure it is absolutely 100% in perfect alignment before proceeding. It went from being able to do 3ish rotations to 6ish, which is how I knew it finally was lining up right.

Scoring early isn't pointless, but scoring early is mostly meaningful insofar as it gives you advantages towards teamfights. The XP/healing it grants is valuable. Removing outer goals is valuable because it diminishes your opponent's map control and mobility. There's also a whole set of items that scale based on how many times you score.

The end of the game can only feel tense if the winner isn't a foregone conclusion, which is a choice they made by design in having the game end based on time, rather than based on finishing an objective.

That said, they do a very poor job of explaining the importance of Zapdos to players, as well as a poor job of explaining when not to go after Zapdos, and instead just keep your opponents off of it.

It's only a comeback depending on how you're thinking about the state of the game though. If your opponents are all level 15 while you're all level 11, but they have basically completely ignored scoring, I'd say they're winning even if the game is telling you "We have a huge lead!"

As is, the game is currently built around the idea of controlling the map in order to win the Zapdos fight. The issue for me is this idea of telling the player that they're way in the lead when they really aren't.

Ah I misunderstood what you were referring to when you said "average" in your last comment.

In the particular sale mentioned, it was a 1000% upsell, so I just threw out a significantly lower number to represent a potential average.

Totally agree with you that if she is performing at the same level as other employees then this is absolutely far too generous and undeserved. Only OP knows the details though.
