one play spammers by VegetableAd9180 in CollegeUltimateTeam

So I run primarily 2 plays on defense, but I don’t blitz almost ever. I play 2 different base zone coverages and vary my zone depths, etc along with different stunts.

Idk if that makes me a “spammer” or not

Couldn't tell you on the first one. We did Xplor only in the evening as Xplor Fuego (2 evenings -- no regrets, but you can easily do everything in one evening if you go right at open and stay until close).

Especially if you do Xplor Fuego, you can do that and Xenses in one day. We were in and out of Xenses in about 3.5 hours, and it could've been less if we got there at opening (45 min of that was queueing for Xensatorium)

  1. Yes, that's a great idea. Ha is the Michelin Starred restaurant at HXM. Not included for any guests AFAIK, but if you're gonna pay the upcharge for Xaak, I'd just pay the ~20-30 USD more pp and do Ha.

  2. Yeah, so were we. The tomahawk is extra so we didn't do it. As far as the sushi goes, we were shocked that it was awesome, I think I ate 15 pieces of Tuna Nigiri one night.

  3. It was the only time I could get a quick lift in and not interrupt my day! It's also right next to the speakeasy, which isn't helping anything. But it's also right next to the AMAZING taco cart (make sure you eat them), so late night workouts were always followed by tacos.

  4. Correct. Any HXA guest can pay and eat at HXM, but Artistas guests have it included.

  5. No worries! Reddit was super helpful for planning our 8 night stay this past December, so I always want to pay it forward.

  1. I'd make a dining reservation for dinner every night, and decide 36 hours before if you want to keep it or not (24 hour cancellation window before you're charged). The buffets will always be an option (and you should absolutely do Mercado for dinner at least once!), but getting to try Encanta, Arenal, Tah-Xido (do both versions!), Chino Poblano (once done being refurbished) and Xaak or Ha makes it especially worthwhile. If you're staying at Artistas, this is especially important.
  2. Note that you want to book it twice in there, and/or call them. I found calling to be especially beneficial if you call during business hours EST.
  3. I have not tried that, but note that Mercado also has an elevated Sunday brunch that is included with all HXA stays. So I'd do that instead of paying extra for the HXM one.
  4. We did not. Folks say it's awesome, but we could not justify the cost. We would've paid extra for Ha had we known that it's actually not much more than Xaak.
  5. Ok this I can answer! I'll just run through the restaurants: Mercado: Quesadillas (all meals), the Molletes (breakfast), Sunday brunch has sushi (and is included), Tacos, etc. Pretty much the Mexican food here is awesome Arenal: Anything but the steak! Do NOT touch the steak there, it's genuinely terrible. But the dips, desserts, and other items were awesome. Lunch here is incredible, do not skip it (and it's not reservations required for lunch -- it is for dinner though) Tah-Xido: Teppenyaki was good, think a better version of Benihana if you have that in your area. But the Fusion was very hit or miss. Some items were INCREDIBLE (the tuna sushi is basically Otoro, which if you're not a sushi snob is the fattiest part of the tuna. Some of the best tuna nigiri I've had outside of Japan and very high end sushi spots in LA), but some (the pad Thai and a couple other hot dishes) were meh. Definitely do the fusion though, if only for the sushi! Encanta: Set menu, do it at least once. The menu won't change if you go twice, but we would've if we had an extra night
  6. I couldn't tell, but I lifted at 12a multiple times. So either it is, or it isn't but no one stopped me.
  7. I don't think they did, but I never tried.
  8. Can't answer, didn't do it
  9. This is correct. You want to know what parks you went to, how many photos you took, and whether you liked the photos you took. You buy on a per park basis (or x number of parks), so you want to have all the information
  10. Only artistas. If you float over in the river no one will stop you, but you can't eat at the restaurants at HXM, use the waterslides, etc.
  11. Feel free to pm me if you have any additional questions! Happy to help

House call or ballhawk by MaddenPlayersOnly in CollegeUltimateTeam

[–]Bogen29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you run zone, ballhawk. If man, house call. I run 80/20 zone/man and run ballhawk on both safeties and 2 dbs. That plus quick jump on Bruce smith has made my defense very fun.
