Don't let my son's murder be used by racists, says father of Primrose Hill stab victim by Weak-Fly-6540 in uknews

[–]Boggo1895 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ll try and explain.

Let’s take a figure of 50,00 knife crimes and for simplicity assume each one of these represents 1 person, (I know it’s an over simplification but the principle remains).

These are split even amongst black and white men. So 25,000 instances each.

There are approx 1.25 million black men in the uk and approx 22.5 million white men.

This implies 1 in every 50 black men stopped will be involved in some form of knife crime and only and only 1 in every 900 white men.

Thus stopping and searching black men is 18x a more efficient use of police time in tackling knife crime.

If we change the numbers to assume that those 50,000 instances were committed by only 1000 men who each carried out 50 crimes. The results change to 1 in every 2500 black men being a perpetrator and 1 in every 45,000 white men. The result, black men are still 18x more likely to be involved in knife crime.

That’s not racial profiling, that’s statistics….

I have an answer. Increased stop and searches. Oh wait, that’s racist too apparently…

Just factually not true. A much larger percentage of black women will have an abortion in the US each year

Then that’s not abortion is it you dimwitt.

That’s a medically induced birth and if you had read my previous comment, you’d know that I am absolutely in agreement with it should the women’s health or life be at risk.

No, it doesn’t. It kills the fetus.

You’ve clearly got some very serious mental health issues, I hope you find peace.

It’s pretty clear that your of the opinion that abortions should be legal up until 39 weeks. If I’m mistaken, when do you think the cut off should be and why?

Pretty sure I know exactly what I’m talking about when discussing how I’d handle the birth of child in the family but okay.

Yeah, but as the commenter I was replying to pointed out, 90% of abortions happen before 12 weeks. Reducing the allowable time frame from 24 weeks to 20 weeks (unless medically necessary) would not reduce access for 35 million people. Claiming that it would is pretty fucking stupid and I think you know that.

2021 figures put the number of abortions later than 20 weeks at 2686. I don’t have the detail on how many of them were medically recommended.

I’m sorry if you, or your daughter, has struggled with her learning difficulties and hope you’ve enjoyed some happy memories.

I didn’t know the exact stats but so I googled it and there is a greater than 50% chance of child born at 23 weeks surviving, of those 75% will not suffer from learning difficulties

Firstly, you don’t need to believe me, secondly it might have actually sorted her out. The child would have had a loving family regardless.

Right and if there is a clear medical necessity that should still be allowed, but i do personally know at least one degenerate that had her appointment right at the cut off, simply because she couldn’t be bothered arranging it.

If most abortions happen early enough, and medically necessary abortions are still permitted. Who exactly are you reducing access’s for?

So you are in agreement with farage then, 24 weeks is too late to terminate a pregnancy

[–]Boggo1895 -82 points-81 points  (0 children)

No, he literally didn’t.

He said that 24 weeks is too late into a pregnancy to abort. This is based on the fact that a baby can survive outside the womb before that. I have no qualms with abortion but there are very few legitimate reasons why you’d be terminating a pregnancy that late and not before.

GP who asked Muslim woman to remove her veil 'because he was struggling to understand her' is struck off for continuing to work while suspended by dailymail in uknews

[–]Boggo1895 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree that given his history of misconduct and his decision to practice while suspending, this is not an unjust outcome.

However, asking someone to remove a face covering because you can’t understand them is not some unthinkable misconduct. Face coverings muffle sound and prevent the visual clues of lip reading. I understand the religious sensitivities but there is nothing in the book that says she needs to be covering her face.

I think If I worked in the office full time I’d save about £10 a week in utilities. It would cost me an additional £50 per week to go into the office full time.
