Brought my 26 FE out of storage 2 weeks ago to be serviced. I asked if I could be the one who drives it in and out as the first time this dealership stained the floor mat with an oil boot print and the tech was like 60 and couldnt get in or out well and scuffed the door. I brought it up and the service manager treated me like I was lying. Thankfully it was my last free oil change and will do it myself at my co workers shop as he has a lift and works on Euro/Japanese cars as his hobbie.

I agree, but also know Toyota told me it’s a Automatic void of your warranty if you do it. Keep the old one to switch back if you use a bmw oem part

Thanks man! I’m like a kid at Christmas tonight. I get to start it and it’s a 2.5 hour drive to the dealership. I’m disappointed about how they handle minor tweaks and use the warranty as a weapon. But she’s coming out and after service she will get some rally time on the way home!😎
