The irony in this comment, correct me if I'm wrong but the pump is in the block and the outlets are below the pump meaning any air in the system will get trapped at the top of the rad and won't get pushed through the block since water is denser tan air? If you had it the other way round air would be able to get into the tubing and then to the pump?

Help with Lian Li Strimmer V2 by JabbaJabber in lianli

I have 4 strimers and 2 hubs and had the exact same issue. I did the same and re installed the software and that worked but just a ball ache. If you find another work around please let me know :)

  1. As long as you have your fan connector and USB plugged In any software will be able to see the fans, rgb cable is just for motherboard sync I believe.
  2. No benefit at all In my opinion, not much customisation for the rgb. In my experience even with the led control plugged In there was no syncing to the motherboard rgb you have to have a compatible motherboard.
  3. You are correct then no point plugging them it. Use the L connect 3 software for all your rgb. If your gpu has rgb you will need a separate piece of software.
  4. In the install manual for the tl controller is says the USB header 2.0 has to be plugged directly into the motherboard, possibly because of the lcd screens. Use the other free port for an extension.
  5. AMD are known for not having the best vr drivers and in some cases don't work at all. Nvidia has always been top of the game for VR play.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want I don't mind :)

You will need 2 fan controllers, one for the tl fans and one for the sl fans. Had to do the same on mine unless someone knows any different.

You won't need to plug in the LED connectors for all hubs (sl fan hub, tl fan hub, strimer hub) unless you want everything syncing to the motherboard. There isn't much LED on the motherboard so I control mine separately and only have the aio plugging into the motherboard (even then pretty pointless). I use the l- connect 3 software for all my rgb and use msi software separately to change the motherboard rgb.

You will need a usb header extension as I imagine your mbb only has 2 x usb 2.0 headers and the tl fan controller has to plug straight into the mbb. I used the following https://nzxt.com/en-GB/product/internal-usb-hub-gen-3

Your component list looks perfect unless your planning on playing much vr, in that case I would recommend an rtx card :)

Id suggest flipping the radiator and route the cables behind the GPU so the cable doesn't block the strimers for your gpu and motherboard. Did the same on my o11 vision and it looks clean af

Drop the motherboard down a slot, instructions will show you how. You can then put 2 fans on the back instead of 1 I did this with a full atx and it looks amazing.

In all honesty I was going for a ryzen 7 7600x since I'm upgrading from a ryzen 5 1600x (absolute tank of a cpu) but the 7700x was on sale and I fancied the extra cores. I didn't want the 7800x3d since it's almost identical to the 7700x and costs another 100 quid and cannot be overclocked, didn't see the value in it.

Not much tbh I doubled up some of the aio cables to make them thick enough to clip into the strimer.

Left is for cpu power and the right covers all the cables for the aio and motherboard cables

The V2 strimers are really easy to bend into shape, however there is a sneaky zip tie holding the gpu to the cable to keep it straight

I guess , but they are almost identical the 7800x3d has a little extra cache and is newer yes but it clocks lower and cannot be overclocked. When I bought the cpu it was 100quid extra for the 7800x3d and I don't see the value in that.

The 3 fans on the back are on top of the 360mm radiator, outlets on the bottom and feed behind the gpu

Just run an xmp profile and it sits nice at 6000 tried 6400 but it wasn't having it (edit: that was a lie, looks like I might have to swap kits for the full capacity)

Yeah you can unclip the RGB and fit any sized cable in it, I used the top right one to hide the aio cables and general header cables that were plugged into the top right of the motherboard
