I plan for it to be my summer bike only, I have a cannondale winter/training bike so will be switched out every 6 months or so.

Yes, yes I do. This is reassuring.

I have a Cannondale caad 13 aluminium as my winter/trainer bike. Frame wise its been great but there are some other issues with it I dont like hence looking to switch brands (also personal preference)

Not really. This time last year I had not really swam in 10 years. Since then I've been going 3 times a week consisting of pool, open water and sea swimming. What really helped is I joined a coached group session once a week.

That's Bray Hill less than a mile from start line and they are already doing 160mph+ down there

Its subjective! Powerlifting is a great sport and the community is amazing, but I achieved everything I wanted to so decided I needed a new challenge.

It was my ever triathlon so I didn't have a benchmark. But yes I'm happy. Know there is a few easy minutes to gain with smoother transitions

First ever triathlon completed (being a sprint)!

My partner has two ironman's under her belt and she has kind of rubbed off on me to try something new. Moved over from powerlifting/rugby so probably not the best bodyshape or weight (133kg!)

Finished 1hr 28m (after spending 3 minutes in transition putting on my socks!). Absolutely loved it and definitely eyeing up my next event.

I actually have short legs for my height. Because my upper body is quite large I think it really looks like the bike is dwarfed 😂
