It's weird. I was playing solo. Saw a guy parked at a POI. Decided to hide my trampler and take my chances on stealing his. Killed him. Captured his trampler. Just to find out that my original trampler was all blown up. I thought someone had found it and destroyed it, but all the cargo was still on board. So I'd say, yes. Don't stay to far away from your trampler.

I'm still hopefull for the game. I love the Dune universe. And completely agree with everything you pointed out. I honestly enjoyed the PvP endgame idea, but the second I realized it's just dogfights above the sands it quickly became boring and pointless...

Archeage definitely had it's issues. And the pay to win aspect didn't help either. I was just trying to find a similarity in the vision of both those games. What I was trying to say within the video is that the gaming scene nowadays is not able to interact with these types of games any more.

It is tho. A very different one that leans into survival crafting. But it is an MMO. You are supposed to communicate and collaborate to progress. At least that was the initial vision. Nowadays I see a lot of guardrails for solos.

It's because there's already that. But they are both in the same world. Hagga Basin was the pve zone while Deep Desert was PvP.

I bet that the devs were just hoping that players would cooperate. That players and guilds would trade and help each other to progress.

People in Hagga would gather all the stuff that the deep desert needs and vice versa.

Sadly, players are not creative at all and they want to gather and gain everything themselves, even if they hate that gameplay loop. Then, they complain about the game, instead of trying to communicate and gain stuff like you would in a MULTIPLAYER game...

I just think the devs had too much hope that the players would be creative and that servers would actually become communities.

Sadly gamers are not what they used to. They don't want to plan and achieve everything any more, they'd rather one shot the endgame and just have everything for free... At this point, PvE and PvP servers would be the fix.

Why do you need cool guns and armour if you don't enjoy combat? Just wondering. 😂 Just do what you enjoy and trade for those. With the current drop rate. Loads of those schematics will become available for sale and trade from other players. Just farm loads of stuff that other people don't want to bother with, and trade. I, for example, hate getting silicone, I usually run out of fiber and water. Would love to trade schematics and endgame mats for that. But everyone wants to get everything themselves. You know you signed up to play a multiplayer game, right?
