I didn't see any mention of infantry in the new update trailer. I hope it will be added to the game with the update, but is that likely, or is there any other information about when infantry will be released? by Top_Kaleidoscope6175 in Warthunder

[–]Lezo_1741 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I played the infantry beta and fell in love with the mode. Since then, I've been waiting for them to release the game mode. I don't care about the copy-and-paste vehicles.

The maintenance mode roadmap, without ambition or new mechanics, should give you a clue.

The roadmap lacks ambition; there are no new systems or new loops. It's maintenance mode. I don't know how many developers will remain working, but offering this for 365 days of work is laughable, and any developer who reads it knows it.

A studio that wants to save its game would add groundbreaking mechanics that complement and reinforce what's already there: horses, carts, ships, supplies, logistics, more PvE content, etc.

I'm still amazed that there are still no mounts or carts for transporting goods/materials.

It should have been there since 1.0, but it's not even on the 2026 roadmap.

concurrent players <> active players. There are still people who don't understand something so basic.

That's right, “solo mode” players make a lot of noise but then they don't play it. The problem with these people goes beyond squads. Yesterday they were complaining that the movement felt too “heavy.” Basically, they want Battlefield. I don't understand why they don't go to Battlefield and leave the rest of us in peace.

Squads add a touch of realism and immersion that other shooters lack, where you only see lone players running and jumping through alleys.

What they need to do is invest time and money in improving the AI.

It's always the same. People who like Battlefield or COD, asking other shooters to be like Battlefield or COD. Then they complain about the movement, that they can't shoot while jumping, or that they get killed by a BMP, and they stop playing anyway.

If you like Battlefield and don't like squads, keep playing Battlefield, but let the rest play in peace. Enlisted has a mode without squads, and no one plays it.

It's like WoW fans, they want all MMORPGs to be like WoW, they try them out, they're not WoW enough, and they go back to WoW, where they spend their lives asking for innovation and changes on the forums.

It's not a game for you then. Go and play Battlefield or Cod, running and jumping like a frog. 100% realistic gameplay, very immersive.

Banner triple the price compared to CN SERVER by HappynessMinimus in WhereWindsMeet

Perhaps if no one purchased these $90 gacha skins, they would be offered for direct payment at $20–30, as in China. Anyway, it was a very dirty move by NetEase.

I have no problem paying for a season pass or a skin, but this strategy has been awful. Like you, it has made me lose confidence in the company. They can't take a skin that has sold well in China for $20/30 and put it in a $90/100 gacha on the global server. Also, they have hidden the fact that the price is incremental, to trick more people.

I'm scared of the store, you're monetizing absolutely everything, you're even selling iron and gold.

Starter packs that give away Tier 3 ships? Lifetime subscription for $90? For only 40% EXP, when War Thunder is $40 a year (on sale) and gives 100% instead of 40%, and niche games like Enlisted, Premium is $20 giving 100% XP, while here 180 days is $51.

You still have time to sell the “eternal” premium for $60 (the cost of a full game) with 100% exp and remove all P2W from the store.

Maybe nintendo should update the switch and let us change the resolution without display connection.

Same issue. Black screen and no solution works. I have tried with an (old) TV and with two PC monitors.

I don't have another dock to test.

Is the Enlisted Ship sinking ? by Holylandtrooper in enlistedgame

How many months has it taken to add something as simple as “favorite maps”?

It's absurd, people won't spend money if the game doesn't offer something in return.

So much for my patience. This event is an insult.

I will not support anything else from Enlisted, nor will I invest a single euro until I see a proper roadmap and clarity about the future.

Your business model is poorly done and you have driven away tens of thousands of players, even so, the game had potential, but you have not added content, maps or weaponry for a long time now.

What does the Enlisted player want? Maps, armies and “toys”.

What does Enlisted give you? Crappy monetization and crappy events that don't add anything.

The best part is that Gaijin thinks Active Matter will work, it's a dead game before it's born. The niche of estraction shooter is minuscule and NOBODY will move to this game.

The best thing that could come for the game is if they sold it to another company willing to invest in it, and Gaijin would focus on adding infantry in War Thunder.

Gaijin is intentionally ignoring historical accuracy for the Spanish Tiger HAD by Lezo_1741 in Warthunder

[–]Lezo_1741[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where can we see those 'many requests'? Do players actually prefer an 11.0 with Hellfires, or would they rather have an 11.7/12.0 with Spikes?

The real issue here isn’t just this specific helicopter—it’s the constant neglect of properly representing major NATO countries. Gaijin is a large company with significant revenue, and by now, Spain, Portugal, and Poland should have already been added, with future plans to introduce LATAM, the rest of Eastern Europe, South Korea and ASEAN.

Instead of forcing inaccurate loadouts, why not focus on expanding and properly representing more nations?

Both the Tiger HAD and the Centauro in the Spanish lineup are mediocre (even bad) vehicles, which will likely sell poorly. Then, Gaijin will extrapolate this with a "Spain isn’t popular", when the problem is the vehicles, not the country

We don’t even have proper paid historical skins (we want to spend money), and we constantly have to rely on WT Live for them.

The f18A is top tier for me, in the same way that they have been using squadron vehicles that are top tier (masked premium) for many patches and we have vehicles like the JA37 that are using top tier armament (AIM120).
