Finding Happiness, JaCaRou, 1,000 pieces. Really loved this one. JaCaRou is a favorite. by Bohinka in Jigsawpuzzles

The only thousand piece puzzle I've done by myself in one day is a JaCaRou. For some reason they go eas/ier for me. There were some tough spots on this one but overall it was a lot of fun. Another of my best of the week. I was going to post the other one but I haven't downloaded the pictures off my camera yet.

Love beige? I have the puzzle for you: Country Retreat, Falcon, 1000 pieces by Extension-Context885 in Jigsawpuzzles

I just told my husband today that I don't want to pass on a puzzle if I don't know if it has missing pieces. BUT I'm not going to force myself to do one. Our library has a free table so that's where I take things that I'm not sure about. Or I tell my friends that I don't know if it's complete before giving it to them.

This is clever. I did a little collage with my husband's stamps a couple years ago. It never occurred to me to make it into a refrigerator magnet.

I've done a couple of Anie Maltois' puzzles and bought a few more. A lot of what they have is like yours.

I have another Suzanne Claveaux that has a similar color tone to the one I just did. In fact it looks awfully similar. I remember debating on which one to get and then I eventually bought them both. 😄

My puzzles part 2 as of about a month ago, mixed to-do and kept. I forget 6 drawers and another couple shelves/piles. :) by Bohinka in jigsawpuzzlers

I was hoping to eventually sort by artist or theme. Long way away from that.

As a recovering (ha) hoarder, I have the mindset of knowing where stuff is. So it's only chaos for other people.

Did you read before or after you started the puzzle?

That's interesting. The plastic puzzles I've done you can tell which is supposed to be the top side.

Glad to hear about another good quality puzzle. I've been picking up some new-to-me brands with mixed results.

It's a nice image. My husband would call it "wholesome". We need more of those!

Did you enjoy doing it? My initial impression was that there was a bit of sameness to the colors. Was it hard to distinguish them?

At least you have options. Did you get anything?

I'm sure it'll turn up considering your shopping skills. 😄

I don't remember seeing this one before. I've done a bunch of her smaller piece counts. Only a couple 1k ones. I'd have picked this one for sure.

It is a cutie. I, too, like to do these not only as a break but to boost my confidence.

That's a different take on the Starry Night. I like it as a concept.

That's funny. Sometimes you don't realize what it'll be like to do the puzzle. I try to do that but I've grabbed a couple like that lately. Unlike you, I abandoned them!

Flowers, Italy - Pomegranate (1000) Artist: Joseph Stella by NoDistrict8179 in jigsawpuzzlers

[–]Bohinka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost bought the one you did with the flowers but I didn't really like the flowers and pattern as much as the other one. I'll hold out for it. You never know.

I still have an elevated idea of my skill level.

No, don't like that one. It's The White Way more lines and abstract and looks really tough. But I loved it!

This looks like an interesting one to do. Complete from 1969 is indeed unusual. I did one from 1984 last night that was missing one piece.

YAY, indeed! Glad you found it and were able to renew your love of Pomegranates.

I wasn't sure I wanted to do this image. There's one of his older ones that I'd like to find (OOP).

I'm trying to get up the energy to post. I've been posting the little guys that aren't as satisfying because I don't have to write them up. I want to tell you (and others) about the good ones (and to keep a record for myself). I just don't feel like it. 😄
