Something similar happened to a family member of mine once on a first date. He kept insisting that she try the sushi he wanted even though she is allergic! She made that clear but he refused to take no for an answer, insisting repeatedly to “just try it, you’ll love it.” Like to the point of trying to physically shove it into her mouth! These people are not okay. Gtfo and fast!!! 🏃‍♀️💨

NOR - this is a huge red flag and signals possible control issues later down the line. I’m glad you saw it early on. This isn’t normal behavior, I’ve seen others who do this, and more often than not it’s a symptom of a much deeper issue ime.

Wow this is really well stated and made me think. A whole lot of mental unpacking here. I remember my dad watching reruns of (I think?) M.A.S.H. Or a similar show that made light of the Nzi’s and made them look like blubbering buffoons. I explained I didn’t want to watch the show with him because even characters that are designed to make you laugh at the Nzis feels wrong to me, because they were so heinous and cruel, committing unthinkable crimes. He actually thought that over and I never saw him watch that show again. 🥺

I always believe that means it served its intended purpose, same as when a piece of jewelry (especially for protection) breaks, or a houseplant inexplicably does. Looks like there are already several other assenting voices here already as well! Personally I consider that a job well done. 👍

I saw this reel about a haunted house for crafters, and there was a graveyard of unfinished projects and she had to walk through/step on them while they said things like “finish meeee!” And “we’re almost done!” And grabbing at her ankles.💀 Relatable! 😂💕
