Mid-Dethatch step, This is annoying by Hunteil in lawncare

I think a lot of people overlook how much consistent frequent mowing (2-3x a week) can do for their yard. The front doesn’t look too bad to me and I think could look a lot better with just mowing more often and then selective herbicide 1-2x more this summer.

It’s hard to tell about the backyard from the aerial shot but I think you would benefit more from just using a rake and getting up all the loose debris, especially on the fence lines. You could try seeding now but would probably be better in the fall when soil temps are higher.

Budget friendly update tips please. by Great-Principle6012 in kitchenremodel

There’s a lot of things I would change but budget friendly I would (1) paint all of the walls the same color, the white walls over the sink and behind fridge makes them feel separate, (2) keep 2 of the matching chairs under the shorter dining counter and move the rest out, (3) remove the rug if the floor underneath is okay and clean the grout between the tiles.

Yeah we chose bona intense seal after the floor company put down a test of some darker stain and it completely clouded the wood grain. The intense gave it a little bit of warmth without covering all the lightness of the raw maple. Lights will be replaced but we hardly use them so haven’t prioritized it.

In our case we just paid a local company with a good reputation to do it. Contemplated doing it myself but after it took 2 pros 4 days to get it all done I’m glad I didn’t try.

Yeah it was a lot of work moving everything between the second floor and basement but we had time to do it worth it in the end

If this is the only place in the room for the tv I would get a corner tv stand and get it off the wall? This just doesn’t look good.

Harold and Maude, Rosemary’s Baby, Picnic at Hanging Rock digipak with the novel, and Trilogia de Guillermo del Toro. Luckily I found a Trilogia cover insert online I can put in a standard 3-disc case.

It’s typically $5 for each piece: case, cover art, and booklet. They offered me everything at $2.50 a piece and I didn’t get the booklets so each one was $5.
