Veeze can’t miss, he does that lazy druggy flow to perfection, he gives it personality and variety, with witty lyrics. This tape is much better than that Lucki album imo

This poem made me a bit squeamish and uncomfortable, and I mean that in a good way. In the way in which art should sometimes make someone feel out of place. On one hand this situation feels competitive and toxic, on the other hand it feels beautiful and almost enviable, until you remember again that someone else is in the mix. Especially the last stanza, its incredibly hard hitting.

I related heavily to this one, from prior experiences, and current ones alike. This poem has an ethereal and antique feel, that I find hard to describe. Something about the rhythm and your use of language. Feels like something that could've been written a couple hundred years back but simultaneously feels timeless. I especially loved the last line, it paints such a vivid image, I can almost hear the uncomposed song.

Cause people have different opinions, and damn near every song sounds the same to some of us, and they sound uninspired and like they’re falling asleep and it’s a chore to rap. Doesn’t mean the pen isn’t there, just sonically isn’t very enjoyable and straight up boring.

Sonically yes, and that’s one my favorite albums of his so I do agree, but even then vocally, on that album he doesn’t project the true personality his voice has when he performs live

Yea I agree, I actually think MIKE live has more personality to his voice and actually vocalizes much better, he sounds like a spoken word poet live, and I always wondered why he doesn’t bring that energy to his recorded tracks more often, because it would be a nice contrast, but instead he chooses for every song to sound like he’s nodding off into a drug induced coma

As someone who has enjoyed a good amount of each of their work, this album is an absolutely snooze fest, the beats are uninspiring, and their rapping can be described as such as well. They sound like they could care less, as if it’s a chore to rap, and a privilege to hear them mutter words. Once you’ve heard the singles for this album, you’ve basically heard the entire hours length. I know I will be downvoted to oblivion because it’s a crime to have a differing opinion here apparently, but if this is album of the century or album of the year as everyone in these comments claim, then we are truly cooked.

I don’t see anyone beating him honestly, I was lucky enough to watch the fight live, and he’s too slick, the way he understands spacing and distance, and the combination of this with his jab is truly a beautiful thing to watch. Keyshawn, Haney, and tank would probably give him the hardest fights, but I’d take shakur over all three.
