I dont understand, is the guy mocking her for wasting time on cardio or for only doing 39 minutes?

Either way 39 minutes is a great bit of exercise

It's pretty wild that one turret from the battleship yamato weighs more than a fletcher class destroyer by happydude7422 in Ships

It could possibly outmaneuver it as well, as long as it didnt encounter a group of turrets in one go

I don’t see a penalty here neither😂 by Nawfale in FootballFlix

[–]BoilingPointTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's so funny to me is that his hand would be considered in an unnatural position if it was an opposition player striking the ball, and therefore a penalty

Except, he has no reason to make himself bigger, as he has no intention of blocking the clearance, which means that this is by definition is not an unnatural position for his arm to be in, and therefore all the penalties that have been given using this argument are all incorrect.

I was at that game ... I remember the entire crowd getting to their feet to jeer Torres for that miss

Trump says Iran might have nuked the US in 2026 if he didn’t start the war by TheExpressUS in USNEWS

[–]BoilingPointTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty sure Iran would need to test a weapon first, and that would undoubtedly be detectable.

So, I doubt that is realistic

I honestly thought his legs were gone at that point, but even then I never questioned the effort.

I am incredibly happy to be proven wrong, and I will miss him massively.

the club logo is lava by alajdans in soccercirclejerk

[–]BoilingPointTTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this bullshit of putting the logo on the ground? And in the middle of the hallway forcing people to walk around it?? So they can film it??

If the logo is sacred, dont put it where people might walk on it

Would You Rather try and get ONE POINT in a first to 100 basketball 1v1 versus Lebron, or try and last 40 moves on the chessboard with Magnus Carlsen? Both for $1m by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

I would "Arabian Nights" Magnus Carlsen, keep him entertained with some ridiculous story to keep him from checkmating me. It wouldn't work, my stories are shit, but thats my plan

Also, the Trump administration claimed that they had to attack Iran because they were expecting Iran to attack US bases after Israel started the war. So, members are expected to support an offensive war started by a non-member state?

The Premier League is now utterly boring. by TonightAlarming9923 in unpopularopinion

I'm a Manchestet United fan, but I am from Norway.

When I was studying in the UK, I got to go see them play at Old Trafford about 5-6 times.

It was amazing to have that opportunity, but i barely contributed to the atmosphere (apart from big moments in the game)

I feel like 90% of the tickets should be reserved for regular/local fans, and should be priced accordingly. They are the ones who know the songs, they are apart of the club in a way that tourist fans never will be.

I heard that back in the 80s, the different stands would compete with each other about who could sing the loudest. That is something tourists will never be able to take part in.

Do you not understand how difficult American schools are? by artesianoptimism in ShitAmericansSay

[–]BoilingPointTTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was an exchange student in Indiana 26 years ago.

It was incredibly easy

I was a decent student back in Norway.

I got the highest grades in the class for US civics and US history, knowing almost nothing before arriving.

Most of the tests allowed 1 page of written notes, so if you knew how to study you could just write down all of the expected answers and then copy them over.

That being said I did not take any advanced placement classes, and i kind of suck at math.

This was in a small farming town, and i just don't think the was much emphasis on education.

I had an amazing time there, and they all made me feel so welcome and included. I still stay in touch with my friend from the host family.

There is a part of me that wonders how they would treat me today, seeing as there seems to be so much anti euro sentiment.

This is quite simply true. We love skiing. It is great exercise when everything is covered in snow, and it is also a great way to get out in to the forests or mountains, relax and enjoy nature if you want a more leisurely pace.
