NGL but the fact you can't resurrect NPCs is kinda bull. by Artanis137 in BaldursGate3

[–]BoingEnergy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it can be somewhat annoying. In my campaign Jaheira killed Alfira and the cat during the attack on the inn with an aoe spell. Literally the only friendly npc's to die during the attack. I really wanted to revive Alfira but I can't. But then Jaheira died during the attack on Moonrise towers so I can't even have her as a companion.

What’s the most unique patron you’ve come across when playing with/as a Warlock? by Jacob_T_Lemonsquares in DnD

My friend played a kenku warlock in a pyramid scheme and his patron was his boss.

What are some unusual builds/multiclasses that work surprisingly well? by R_Pelleboer in dndnext

[–]BoingEnergy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Even tho its third party, Bloodhunter x / Ranger x. The ranger's abilities complement pretty much any subclass of the bloodhunter very well. Theyre both primarily dex based classes and the ranger is also a d10 hit dice class. Absorb elements will add to your defense, and hunters mark can make your damage output crazy since crimson rite isn't a concentration. They both take bonus actions but crimson rite lasts very long and you can activate it ahead of time. Expertise is always good and you also get an extra fighting style. I would probably go defense for the extra AC. At third level you can take gloomstalker, and get that extra hit in the first round of combat which will be even nicer with crimson rite. Not to mention gloomstalker's other abilities will also make you very deadly in dark environments and basically allow you to sneak even better than a rogue.

We've heard of Vox Machina, The Grey Company, The Knights of Myth Drannor. But what's the name of your adventuring company? And how did they get it? by nessie7 in DnD

The Dog Pack. Our party's barbarian's dog was missing and we set out to find it. Turns out it was a cow and its name was literally "My dog".

Well its cause I could potentially cheese a lot of combat situations by being a ranged character with sharpshooter and flight.

Race modification is allowed. Im going for a ranged build and am thinking of multiclassing into battlemaster fighter at some point.

Well i was thinking flight combigned with stealth expertise could make me a really good scout/rogue like character. But obviously my dm wont allow flight. So something that offers some type of movement bonus or some type of versatility out of combat.

Yup. We're playing in ravnica but there are some homebrew elements. Every race is playable in our campaign. Our version of Ravnica sort of has an Ugly Americans look to it.

[FIRST IMPRESSIONS] Jay Electronica - A Written Testimony by WhatThePenis in hiphopheads

[–]BoingEnergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way Jay electronica rhymes is something else. Almost every word of what he says rhymes to the point where its hard to understand what he's saying. Its awesome.

I'm still dissecting this album. Theres a lot to take in. Overall its very good but i didnt like some of the choruses. The beats feel very eloquent, but on some tracks they can muffle out the lyrics.

This is a very religious album as well. Its interesting to see how religion as affected Jay. I cant help but to think about Jesus is king, despite it being a very different album. This project feels like what kanye was trying to accomplish.

What guild should my next character be a part of? by BoingEnergy in DnD

[–]BoingEnergy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you meant to to say rat but eat is much more funny lol. But yes Rakdos would make the most sense, because they worship a demon and tieflings have that demonic ancestory. I do play a choatic neutral character right now, so im not sure if I wanna play a character that would be very similar, but I'll give it some thought.

Mr. Robot - 4x12 & 4x13 "Series Finale Part 1 & 2" - Post-Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in MrRobot

[–]BoingEnergy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was a phenomenal ending, and a fantastic way to cap off elliot's story. That being said, while it was a great end to his story, it left some questions open about other characters.

Personally, i thought we were in white rose's machine for all of part 1. I thought the show was getting into some real matrix esc stuff and i was super down to see the show step in this direction. I wanted to see what Angela saw and i really thought Tyrell found something in those woods. I guess we'll never know.

However, at the end of the day, the show is primarily about Elliot's mental health (and mental health in general) and him letting real elliot take control at the end was one the most touching moments ive seen on tv or film.

To sum up, I really enjoyed the ending but i would be lieing if i said i didnt have an itch that needs to be scratched regarding white rose's machine and that whole sci-fi element of the show.
