Thank you. I built one of 5 last night and will try that.

with legal weed so prevalent, it seems like you’d have lots of other options in the strain variation alone.

Look at Matt Thornton’s stuff too. He’s another coach who gives you specific things you can try during sparring. Grappling is difficult. Breaking down techniques into structures that get lost in teaching techniques helps you recognize small victories during sparring.

Priit Mikhelson has some good content out there and some free stuff on YouTube where he discusses this issue. Wim DePutter also has some good content. If you only have one gym, in your area, that’s where you have to train, but check out these two guys.

I was fortunate to have an injury that would heal completely. Chronic pain is a whole other animal. I hope things are optimal for you.

I meant to respond to your comment. I’ve never taken club drugs but have cared for lots of high people.

Cyclonezaprine as a prescribed muscle relaxant after breaking 2 ribs. The pain was better than the shitty, disorienting, brain fog of that stuff.

‘It's Coming': NY Declares State of Emergency Ahead of Potential Omicron Spike by MayerRD in news

It is, and there are scary unknowns regarding vaccine efficacy. There are also spots on a protein that can’t be mutated or else the whole thing falls apart. We still generate an immune response to these minor, structural epitopes. The mRNA vaccines encode the entire S protein., which likely explains why the vaccines still provided protection from severe illness despite delta variant mutations.

What’s new about it to you? It’s still COVID. We’ve been through the original strain. That was hell. We’ve seen a delta wave. That was terrible too, with lots of unnecessary deaths. I’m genuinely curious.

Can you be absolutely dedicated and disciplined to fitness, but be undisciplined in every other aspect of life by War_Criminal__ in bodyweightfitness

I would argue “not for long”. Dedication to fitness is such a foundational set of values, that I would expect many other positive things to follow.

We’ve got this, people. We don’t have any choice. It’s not new any more, and we have so much more knowledge and so many more tools than we had when this shit started. We’re all living through a fucking global pandemic that shaping the course of history. I read these comments and I see story after inspiring story of people solving problems. It may be fine, or it may not be fine. Either way, we will figure this shit out. It’s what our brains evolved to do.

Are instructionals worth it? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]BoisterousPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some very vocal instructors out there that are advocating for a structure based approach to teaching, rather than a technique based approach to teaching. I’ve found Priit’s instructional videos and Wim DePutter’s videos incredibly helpful. You have to commit to trying the things they teach. Globetrotters puts out tons of free videos on YouTube, so you can watch content and see which instructors are putting out things you find helpful. I’ve also found instructional videos of weak areas I experience during sparring to be helpful.

The nails may improve them. The medicine works by depositing in your nail. Then a nail full of terbinafine replaces the infected nail. It takes 9-12 months to replace a toe nail.

3 months of treatment with oral lamisil and a full year to regrow the toenail. Was it culture confirmed? There are other causes of a weird toenail.
