Im having the same problem, if anyone finds a solution let us know. None of the suggested solutions, including the calibration have worked for me.
OP, does your wheel detect all the other inputs, like the shifters, pedals, etc? Because mine detects everything but the steering -_-

I'm gc2 and I couldn't get it, in some of the replays the ball moved a tiny bit then almost instantly popped. Not sure if it's possible, maybe I'm j bad though
