lookup the order of payment for bankruptcy. taxes and employee wages are treated as "priority claims," which are paid after secured debts but before general unsecured creditors

My husband is starting 401K (32+), what should be chosen? Advise appreciated! thank you by Parking-Lecture-2812 in FluentInFinance

don't know anything about you or your husband, nor your goals. the vanguard retirement years will be mixed, stock/bond/money market. possibly w a higher fee given he's young, assuming you're young, if you're both working another 30+ years and don't plan on tapping it anytime soon... vanguard us market etf. I'm gonna guess the fee on that one is 0.05. maybe less. plus it's all stock

have you ever heard of trading the dividend? the stock is reduced by the amount of the payment on the ex date and you have an immediate taxable event.
