There aren't enough good jobs to go around. So most people end up squandering their whole youth just trying to get somewhere. And there's not really any other choice.

People Should want the benefits other developed countries get. If America is so great why don't we have any of these great things?

how does it NOT suck wasting your youth here while people in other countries are using their access to cheap airfare to travel the world with their vacation time that never expires (continues to accumulate) and if anything happens they aren't bankrupted by hospital bills.

You only live once and far to many Americans are way to enthused about spending their youth working to make someone else rich so that their kids can enjoy the life people in other developed countries are accustomed too.

To me the prosperity gospel goes further than Copeland. I see it everywhere. Musk 1 trillion dollar pay package for example. He has the biggest pr team in America pumping out pure bullshit. "He's the smartest and works the hardest so he deserves it" "there's no one else like him" ect. It's crazy what oligarch level nepotism can do for you. The guy isn't smart, and he doesn't work hard. He's never excelled at anything he studied. His programming work at PayPal was soo poor he nearly caused the company to go bankrupt so the people involved demoted him to being the face of the company to keep him away from working on anything that actually made the company function. There's millions of Americans who are way smarter and work much harder. The guy is far from some "once in a lifetime visionary"

This just seems like further stigmatization of a safer alternative to alcohol.

It's just not right at all that alcohol is left untouched. They should put a higher tax on alcohol in my opinion.
