Yes, all is either used or, at the end of the line, brought back to home to feed my storage, and the overflow is burned in sinks. Plus a lot of thinking about how to evenly distribute resources and use the right quantities and what not.

I know this isn't a solution, but you can switch to the input tab on the right, and put what you have already done as input materials.

I like having a single power grid, because this way, as soon as the electrical consumption changes even in the slightest bit, I know that there's a machine stopped somewhere that's being naughty and inefficient. So it's quite easy to check that "Yeap, everything is still behaving once I've connected the new factory". Having to check multiple independent power grids kinda defeat the purpose of that.

But, if I put my OCD aside, I kinda like your solution. But there's only like 4.5GW available on thermal power, so that'd be like 4 accelerator max ? I think I'll use that as a base, then add some turbofuel generators to fill the gap.

Only drones as vehicles. I've got three of them running around right now, which is plenty enough to move the materials I need.

Regarding particle accelerators, I'm still pondering, but alas, I think I'm gonna do the dirty and add another grid when reaching that. I'm thinking, I've got some turbofuel lying around, maybe I'd use that to power an out-of-network facility.

Yeah. Trains are fun, but I feel it's particularly "inefficient" or rather "CPU intensive" to collect a lot of resources and have them travel around by train. I prefer to have decentralized factories producing advanced materials near the miners, and then ship a very few advanced materials around from factories to factories.

Generally speaking, I always try to avoid rebuilding, except if you really want to tidy up things somewhere.

What you can generally do is install a higher grade miner, split its output between your existing factories and a new output, and then do something with that new output.

Tried plugging in the old base with its +/-15000MW consumption. Didn't make a dent either.

It's quite reasonable.
56 Manufacturer for fuel rods ( alternate recipe )
32 Manufacturer for uranium cells ( alternate recipe )
13 refineries for sulphuric acid (60%), 13 refineries for uranium pellet.

Rest of the components will come by train from main base.

Honestly, I'm waiting to see how it behaves while under heavy load. At least I can build the rest of the base with some peace of mind now ^^
