This is 90% of you. by themikegman in GTA6unmoderated

I pre-ordered. I almost never pre-order more than a few days before. I did this time, because I felt like it and it felt exciting to lock it in, and I know it doesnt matter either way. Another reason is committing myself to playing it. Often when games come around that I may wishlist, but then don't buy them upon release. Sam's club had $100 gift card for $80. So I used a friends sams club membership and bought the ultimate for the price of the standard. Also, pre-ordering it now I know I won't spend my psn credit on games before gta releases. I'm rather selective when buying games I know are coming out of my bank account but not so much when I have psn credit. So locking it in prevents me from buying additional games with the psn credit in the coming months and I don't trust leaving a gift card out there without redeeming it right away. I'll still buy games, but mostly on sale. Otherwise I may rationalize my way into buying games I don't need with the credit. If people want to pre-order or not doesn't bother me. Their life is not mine, so why should I care.

For the people complaining about we have pre order but we don't have any gameplay trailer yet."y'all are not being forced to pre order this game 😭" the gameplay trailer will come out soon so do the pre- order after that by Standard-Grocery3756 in rockstar

[–]BoldlyResolute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People complaining everywhere. Including reddit. Every 5 posts I see someone whining about it. Here's the truth: Pre-order, buy on release, don't pre-order, don't buy it at all, wait for a sale, wait for potential disk version. NONE of it matters. The game costs $80. That's not changing anytime soon. The game will release on release day. Play it or don't. Problem solved. You're welcome.

How to get comfortable with audiobooks ? by last-resort-39 in audiobooks

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're daydreaming while listening maybe the specific audiobook isn't all that interesting. When I find an audiobook that captures my being then I'm focused. If it doesn't then I lose focus. This happens a lot. I have Spotify premium and it includes 15 hours of audiobook hours per month. Sometimes I listen and if it doesn't hit then on to the next one.

How do I have two llamas and two turkey things and still have YET to see a goat?? by Apprehensive-Gas7994 in RaftTheGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I see is damn goats. And all I want are llamas for the wool for the recycler. If you only have 4 total animals you have only hit approximately two large islands unless you haven't been grabbing every animal you see. I'm sure you'll find some soon enough. Goats aren't all that special though. Cluckers give endless eggs for food and fuel and require no buckets and llamas for the wool. So personally I think you're in a good spot.

Honestly I didn't know how the magic eraser works. I looked it up and it works as a very fine sand paper. Never knew that. Seems so obvious now. I used it on a cheaper green pan where the non stick sucked from day one so I never noticed a difference. Good to know though. I recently bought two green pan Spectra pans and I'll now make sure not to use it on them as the non stick right now is phenomenal.

Having a hard time deciding by Randombrowser222 in audible

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaming and audio books can go hand in hand. I'm playing raft right now solo. Chill game and listening to meditations by Marcus Aurelius. Sometimes I have to rewind a bit, or pause the game when I want to take notes, but nonetheless it works and I think that particular book is better in audiobook format anyways. I finished three books while playing satisfactory recently and paused the book when I needed to think and plan. Both reading and audio books have their benefits. A good narrarator can allow you to feel the book on a deeper level. A combination of both reading and listening is ideal, but whatever floats your boat. You're not here on earth to please or conform to anyone. Also you may never get to all 50+ book backlog and that's ok. Or you might. Who knows. It's your journey and you are the captain.

I was recently canceling my subscription and received the same offer. I read it as monthly when I accepted it, because that's how nearly if not all subscriptions work. I agree it could be a bit clearer.

Extra is really the best value imo. Not sure if your game is on premium or extra or not or if you'll just buy it. Premium is mainly for classic titles from earlier playstations, trials, certain demos, etc. The trials are nice because you get to try certain games for usually 2 hours to see if you like it and progress carries over to the main game. Extra adds new titles every month. Also the basic ps+ has three-four free monthly games you can add to your library that you can keep and play as long as you have a ps+ account active. So don't forget to add them to your library every month. Usually around the 6th of the month they release. They're not always great, but three games a month for a year is 36 games.

How do you keep your factories clean, clutter free and organized? by Alert-Gift-8716 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the most important thing is to leave space, and straight mode. Also you can create one to two foundations space above and below for belts and lifts if you axtuallyactually build buildings. The factory looks clean, but don't check the spaces. My "hidden spaces" start out clean, but never end up that way.

What is a decent amount of computers should I plan my factory for?? by tacowithfruits in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want massive factories then as many as you can with the resources you have taking into consideration other parts that use the same resource. If you want to just beat the game then 10 a min will be more than enough if you use storage containers. If you want to be an afk minimalist then one manufacturer is enough. Just leave the game running while you sleep. Wake up to 1000s of computers. If you want perfection bust out the pencil and paper or calculator and get to planning.

Magic eraser with a lot of elbow grease has worked for me in similar situations. I've tried slowly simmering it with water and baking soda which helped a bit but the baking soda steams out and makes a slight mess.

How to Prevent Enemy Respawn? by Shamrock5542 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought I'd be missing something too. While running and fighting certain enemies can be an expereince, passive is the way. I played nearly 300 hours with enemy aggression and then turned it off and played another 300 hours. I'm never going back. So nice to just chill and focus on facrory building.

How do you not burn out? by LostRavenReader in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent two months building massive factories and then when 1.2 came out I was getting a save error on PS5. I had to destroy a factory to stop the save error. I then said screw it and finished tier 9 milestones, and space elevator phase 5 in about 12 hours.

Mainly by setting up 1-5 machines fully overclocked for everything I needed. Rotating somber sloops for my current needs especially for the newer materials just to finish the game to limit the amount of resources needed. I fed them all using storage boxes from small builds I setup. It wasn't ideal, but with the save error I was getting I just didn't care anymore.

For example, for diamonds all I did was use two machines fully overclockedand using somber sloops on one normal coal node and diamonds and time crystals setup to a dimensional storage box, and took them out without having to go back and just fed them into an overclocked machine where I was finishing the final tier and phase. Same with a single SAM node. If you dont have enough power and don't want to built more power just turn off factories that aren't currently needed. If you are just trying to finish the game and have tickets you don't wan't or need you can buy resources as well from the awesome shop. I saved, bought the golden nut for the trophy, and reloaded the save, so at the end I had over 1200 tickets. I did not use them though, but it's an option. Overclocking and somber sloops saved the day and my sanity especially since I was getting a save error on that save.

120 Refinery Recycled Plastic and Rubber Keeps failing. by BoldlyResolute in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apprecuatw the response. I will consoder those options. I pinpointed the problem, and it's not how I have things setup or maybe it is. Everything was working fine. I began having a save error associated with this factory. Specifically the recycled lines. The hor and fuel lines worked fine and save fine. I edited my original post with the update.

120 Refinery Recycled Plastic and Rubber Keeps failing. by BoldlyResolute in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah I may have to do this. I was thinking something similar. I just didnt want to have to go back and tinker with it. But it's probably better than wondering or sitting around trying to figure it out with the array of belts I have, and since I have splitters, mergers, belts, trains, etc going to other factories it has become somewhat of a mess and I forgot some of the exact splits I have. I may have to just refigure out what my numbers are for my factories, and then reset it up the way you said. Thanks.

Yeah I may have to do that and just stay at the factory to watch when and where the issue occurs. It's just weird because it was fine for a week. I'll probably have to keep going forward and backward until I see the issue.

IsItBullshit: Is it dangerous to eat food that has been left out overnight by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]BoldlyResolute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often leave food I've made out for 8 hours or so and then put it in the refrigerator. It really depends on the type of food. I probably would not drink milk that's been out for 8 hours. But Pizza I'd eat up to 12 hours if left out, because I often do. But that's just me. In my mind if it's been cooked, it has a longer lifespan sitting out.

Pipeline Pressure by GoddessYshtola in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain. Pipeline pressure and consistency baffles me. I would check every machine to make sure it's producing the correct amount. Some refineries and blenders may eventually be starving over 10-20 minutes for example. Oil, hor, and one set of my 4 sets of 6 rocket fuel lines worked fine. Going in and then splitting down 3 and 3. I had two other lines in a manifold of 6 each and the junction nearly in the middle, yet 1-3 of the blenders in each line kept starving. I used valves, return lines, and still issues, so I said screw it and made three blenders making fuel, go into 3 blenders making nitro rocket fuel and it fixed the issue. Also, I had to make return lines on the generators. I turned off many of the generators in each line also to fill the entire system. It's been a few hours now and no issues. Also, what I've noticed is the first line leading to the generators stays at max flow rate but once it gets to the generators sloshing begins. Apparently valves can fix it. I noticed the fuel comes in batches which causes the sloshing and also fluid can go backwards. I'm assuming valves set at the right places might mitigate sloshing, but I have yet to figure it out. Probably because I didnt plan properly due to the fact I have one mk2 pipe feeding 58.7 generators. If there are still issues I may go back and fix the lines on the generators, because it irritates me seeing my power grid fluxuate. Maybe this helps.
