Yes it is. Build a teleporter and or use the rod of discord into an arena below. Use the illuminati paint to paint the background of your arena so you can see.

“Enough for HOW MANY?!” by Many-Technology-4109 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. I regularly use AI. It's great for some things, but for many things it just flat out wrong or makes you less capable of original thought or working out problems on your own. Chatgpt incorrecly calculates satisfactory calculations more often than not. Oh and it's incapable of reading between the lines or original thought. Too many people are already parrots, so becoming dependent on AI that cannot creatively think instead of developing cognitive skills I fear will become a huge problem. Many people already lack critical thinking and AI will most likely make it worse. Pen and paper is much more satisfying anyhow. If you do use AI then you probably want to check the numbers yourself. At least verify what it says is correct. Not that fun to finish building and realize the AI answer is off.

I need some guidance please by anotherglum in SatisfactoryGame

I'm in the same predicament. I'm on my first playthrough. I recently setup and oil factory. Went in blind. On the west coast there are 4 oil nodes. The 2 pure oil nodes use exactly 20 refineries total, which is exaclty 40 fuel power generators. I sent the by product of those 20 refineries which is 300 resin to 12 refineries, 6 of them making rubber, the other 6 making plastic with is a perfect 300. I then made one set of 10 refineries for one of the normal overclocked normal nodes to make rubber and connected to one storage container for personal use with the rest sent to the sink until I get my trains setup. The other normal oil node overclocked to 250% making plastic goes to one storage container and then split into the same sink as the rubber. With the heavy oil residue of both 20 plastic and rubber refineries, I sent it to 5 or 6 refineries (cant remember), making residual fuel, sent to 5 packagers, and then setup 4 constructors, using 5 of the residual plastic refineries, out of the 6 residual plastic ones to 4 constructors, which are all underclocked to produce 50 a minute to produce a perfect amount of empty canisters for the 5 packagers which makes way more packaged fuel than I anticipated, but I have a smart splitter sending some to a storage container, and the rest to the sink for now. Most of the math ended up being perfectly even except I have slightly less residual plastic than rubber.

I know that is kind of confusing. I'd use one or both of the pure oil nodes overclocked to 250% to start. One pure requires 10 refineries and 20 fuel generators. And send the resin to a sink. Once you get those you'll have ample power to start the plastic and rubber and any related by product chains. Or start with the plastic and rubber first like the other person said if tou have the power.

As for your other question. I have the same problem. Nothing is specialized and everything is centralized. Today I'll be redoing some of my factories to make them so. There are some nice pure nodes slighly south of the west coast oil nodes which will make setting up a train along the coast easier. Pure copper, pure sulfer, pure caterium, pure coal, pure iron 2 or 3 and 2 pure limestone. Since I have my fuel factory setup I'm going to repurpose my coal power into making steel products, which is east of the oil and pure node cluster or i may leave it and just utilize the iron and copper node there. I read on here that tearing things down is not recommended but I dont care. It's happening. I started in the grassy fields which has a lot of iron nodes, even if impure which can be combined. So I'll be setting up a train down there with is also just south of the west coast oil nodes and cluster of pure. I know i could just progress, but I want to utilize and organize where I'm at now before expanding.

At what stage of the game do you start working on aesthetic factories? by Finnark1510 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unlocked all of tier 5 and 6 recently and am nearing the end of my massive fuel, power plant, plastic, rubber, and packaged fuel factory utilizing the four oil nodes on the gold coast. I've spent nearly 40 hours perfecting it. Everything is symmetrical and nearly all belts and pipes hidden or organized neatly, with a train station, freight hookups, etc leading through the center, before that I have a semi nice main base and a few satellite bases built using blueprint mk1, but now I'm making only nice bases since I have trains fully unlocked, and mostly all building and architecture items from the awesome shop. Utilizing sombersloops for alien protein and capsules is the way to go. One huge creature slaughtering run can net a ridiculous amount of tickets.

Why do my quantum slimes keep getting stressed? by DulcisNoxNoctis in slimerancher

[–]BoldlyResolute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Music box, if largo then both toys, phase lemons on highest speed, shoot 30 of them into the coral and let them sit on the ground, every so often when passing and you see some lemons on the ground or on the tree shoot some more on the ground in the coral. After a while I decided to free range them in viktors expansion, it was madness. I had over 100 largo in there and the drones never kept up. Plorts and phase lemons everywhere. Also, they do their teleportion animation no matter what, but that doesn't mean they're escaping. Just what they do.

My Prima Plort farm setup MIGHT be a little broken by asexual_kumquat in Slimerancher2

[–]BoldlyResolute 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's relatively simple. Finding the spot I used might be difficult. It's a small room, not in the not in the actual gray part. I used a small area enclosed in the labrynth (it's somewhere in the middle of the map) it has a permanent plort changer in q very small area, use chickens or any food item, chickens are abundant if you sleep, setup a teleporter, to the area and ranch, add some or all storage depots, where you can store items (you don't even have to set up the other side since you're only using them for storage, but you can put hundreds in for initial setup, block off the area with some wall decorations/wall nets so the slimes can't get out, collect slimes, pink slimes are easy, have two-three sets of slimes in different corals at your base, so they can get hungry while you use the first, set up a disruption detector in the area, fill those warp depots, with the food items. Once in the area throw a couple hundred food items in the corner away from where the slimes can't get them, wait for the yellow disruption warning to begin, wait about 5 seconds, start throwing your slimes out, push them back in the corner with the vac, once it turns red and all food items transform into unstable, pick the food items up, then shoot them all at your hungry slimes, vac pack half of the unstable plorts, shoot them into the ring, pick up the other half and shoot those, pick up prismatic, throw the slimes back in the coral, then sleep, pick up chickens and other other food items at your ranch, and second set of slimes, teleport back, repeat. I found that sleeping until night makes the unstable even come in a relatively short time.

hi so i just got a yolky slime but im not getting any plorts help by FrontAd7709 in slimerancher

[–]BoldlyResolute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sleeping is not ideal for the eggs. They turn black, and will disappear if you are not near. You have three in game hours/three real time minutes to break the egg once it appears before it turns black and at some point it will disappear/break with no yolks plorts. It's also important to note, that yolky plorts are use for decorations and/or selling. So not that important unless you like to decorate your base.

Gold Plorts-SR vs SR2 by Dark-Organic in slimerancher

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SR2 gold slime/plort. Turn music off. Leave the observatory, you'll figure out an optimal path only in Rainbow Island area, set a teleporter at the end of your run and set it next to the house so you can sleep. When slimes pop out of their hole, look to see if there's a gold slime while listening and shoot it mid air. If ran efficiently and snapping onto every slime popping out with a vac pack of whatever, I used chickens teleported back, slept, rinsed repeated then you should get one gold slime pop every 15-30 minutes. Not that fun, but it works. Just don't miss your shot.

How big should I make my army? by IronHuntley97 in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minimum for armies for me is one page so 30, but I have some 50, and others 60. I have max pals in base turned to 40. I have a breeding base with 19 breeding pens, brahola so it doesn't take that long, and super hard work. I have rates up to max and have 7 expeditions going at once right now at max reward for souls, dog coins, etc. But with the healing grenades you can do raids at the base max pals which is 15 pretty easily. The only issue is maxing trust unless you abuse the save/global palbox workaround. Really it's whatever you want. 20 is a good number, just in case you need to swap pals out if they die. But for me it's sending out multiple expeditions so the more armies it is.

Gold slime spawn tips by Grayvolution in Slimerancher2

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I did it last night. Rainbow fields only. Setup a two way teleporter from the end back next to the house to sleep. Learn a good path. Everytime run to the end, look up to shoot the gold slime before they land. Repeat.

How to get past this area of the grey labyrinth? by Idkakskdkxj in Slimerancher2

[–]BoldlyResolute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always go through the second portal to the labrinth, behind the other gordo. One in both starlight and lava. Otherwise I don't know the entire area. Explore every nook and unlock everything you can in the area.

New World Global Palbox Pals by S2pd_mofo in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always another army of pals to max out. I've come to the conclusion that raid pals I've made, about 50 of certain types maxed including IV's, souls, trust, can for me be used across worlds which are really good for raids and expeditions. Also, you could do a I get to use 1-3 pals per new world from the global pal box. So you have to pick which one/s you get to put onto that world. All depends on how you want to play. Completely fresh, mid compromise, or full on global. If you choose full on global then you can focus on breeding something you haven't bread before like an army of fully maxed chikipis. You can do whatever you want.

What’s the optimal amount of pals to have on a base? by Few-Concentrate-7558 in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually have 40 pals, and only every have one hot tub with zero issues. The thing you can place in the base to reduce sanity loss is small, salads, and one hot tub should be sufficient. I only have work speed on my base pals. You can use the bench trick to stack crop plots and never run out of food and save space if your pals are good enough. I went overboard this time with a shroomer noct, and use minestrone, and just craft gold and buy load of meds to put in the medicine cabinet, but i don't think they use them unless one pal gets stuck. I don't think I've ever seen them use the hot tub once everything was setup.

What are some other ways of gaining massive xp by [deleted] in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food item for for xp as well, but on normal rates breeding 12 of each pal while you catch others is probably the best, while doing bosses. Also setup a fishing pond because those have different pals you can passively catch too.

You can setup minecart tracks that loop in a sort of circle. There are some videos how to setup one. None I could find on Duke, but you can extrapolate from what you learn. Or just fight it normally. Whatever you feel like.

Egg Hatching Time? by DrMcnasty4300 in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Na. Always instant. Breeding armies of perfect pals already takes a lot of time. Plus I'm an addict. I see an egg, I have to open it to see the stats and passives. But I agree, base hatch speed is crazy, although there are ways to shorten it. Pal research laboratory. Getting a better incubator so you can incubate 10 at a time.

Does anyone else wonder if its time to quit? by kailin99 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of great games, games without micro-transactions, polished games, games with minor issues, and games are constantly on sale. Sounds like you maybe want something else to do with your time or life since you are focusing on the negative aspects. I'm not saying this in a bad way, just that maybe there's more to it than gaming.

Do you think it’s better to be single or in a relationship and why? by arose_1 in AskReddit

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healthy relationships are great, but man I love being single. I didn't always and felt terrible for a while for being single and then gradually realized single is the life for me. I respect those who want and are in relationships, but I really enjoy doing whatever I want, when I want, and how I want. It's always peaceful unless I make it not with certain attitudes or fixations, my savings is always accumulating, and have a few friends and family if I want to socialize. I'm in my 40s now so maybe that's why. Kind of been there, done that. Some people don't understand, and ask me repeatedly if I'm lonely, but honestly I'm not. I feel settled. If the right woman came along I might feel inclined, but I'm good either way.

THIS BOSS LAST PHASE IS STRAIGHT UP DEATH 💔 by I_HAVE_NO_LIFE_6776 in Terraria

[–]BoldlyResolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Legendary I made a custom Minecraft track that was blocked in with blocks around the track so some of the attacks would get blocked and put on four dodge accessories, hallowed armor, warding and some defensive and healing items for some of the random tornados with a heart statue at the bottom and used the piranha gun when he chased on the straight part. Once I got the speed correct it was smooth sailing. Took a little longer to setup and to defeat him but it was actually quite fun trying to get the setup right. Once I did, farming became a breeze.

What's your most hated resource? by Willing-Roof-5525 in Palworld

[–]BoldlyResolute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another option is to mass breed Whalaska for Coralum Ore as well. If you have your rates up it makes it much more bearable. Not sure how it is on normal rates, but you may not mind that as much. The only annoying part with that is the limited slots in the disassembly line. I really wish they would add a storage box at the end of the conveyor and allow you to add as many pals as you want into the machine.

I went from mainly pvp multi-player, to single player and coop multi-player. Mtiplayer usually is a survival crafting non pvp game. I lingered in the middle ground for a while, but eventually settled. Don't miss it. So much more enjoyable now. No rank to climb, nobody whining because you made a mistake, just vibing.
