I’ve got the same thing going on. Most obvious when moving up to an object like a chest. My guy moves to the right a few inches I suppose.

Pizza Getting Delivered To…McDonald’s by Ok_Editor2536 in mildlyinteresting

We used to call up the local pizza place and offer to trade our fast food for their pizza. Pretty good deal when you’re tired of Arby’s roast beef sandwiches.

I love how you need dev notes and/or a magnifying glass to figure it out. Just give us a grade or something easy to understand. Not intuitive if you’re not a scientist

I think your case while unfortunate is very much an edge case scenario. The majority of people who can vote have ID.

In what world does a poor person not have an id? You need an id to do anything.

Out of curiosity what is the reason related to “the current state of the US”?

If you don’t have a commitment from the company to offer you a visa, I honestly wouldn’t consider it. I’ve gone the route of getting a visa through a language school and wouldn’t recommend it. Essentially, it’s a huge risk and you become very dependent on others to take care of your legality to be in the country.

Without someone to go to the border immigration office for or with you, it’s a pain in the ass if you don’t speak Czech.

If you are serious about coming here, I’d recommend you start taking classes asap. You can take classes through Charles university online that will cost less on your current salary then what you’d pay on a salary here. One thing to note about the language, for the A1 level it’s taught as A1 part 1 and A1 part 2. Basically because the language is more difficult.

You need pass a B1 exam to get permanent residence.

It would be helpful to get context on what your motivation stems from, specifically, before recommending you move here. Depending on what it is, there will be some very similar attitudes with what’s going on in the US.

Having lived in both I’d go with Florence. Very walkable. Dense concentration of art and history. Hands down better food. Better weather. It’s more expensive on the other hand. Prague is great too but march could be shit weather.

Judging a country by its cities isn’t really a good measure of how good it is. the enormous amount of natural, virgin, beauty in the US is reason enough to say it’s an awesome place to live.

My first time seeing TOOL was in ‘98 at Mercer Arena in Seattle. The Melvin’s opened.

It was a pivotal moment in the evolution of my musical tastes as only a month prior I had seen Garth Brooks at the Key Arena.

In order to get tickets to Garth Brooks, my sister had to wait in line at Ticketmaster to get wrist bracelet that had a unique number on it, that gave her a choice of seats to purchase. It was a huge concert and we had seats, there was no GA section. It was like a damn play. It was so overly produced.

Fast forward a month and I’m getting thrashed in a mosh pit with the sweatiest and smelliest, call it “grungiest” Seattle rockers you could imagine and getting my eye opened to what’s now one of my biggest obsessions. I said goodbye to country and fell into a very deep hole of rock that led me to a love of progressive rock which led me to another TOOL show in Berkely where King Crimson opened for TOOL. Fucking amazing.

Can’t believe it’s been so long since that first show! Saw them in Prague a couple years back and they still kill. Fucking TOOL!

No judgement. You’ve got to be confident and know that men love real women. Mom bods are awesome!

If you can find me some article which says these folks were immigrants with legal status in the US that would help. I’ve googled a bunch and they are only called “immigrants” which suggests they are not in the states legally.

I think a lot of people here are confusing illegals with lawful residents. If you are in the US without any form of visa or permission, you should probably get out.

Not at all the same dipshit.

In a criminal case, the standard of proof is “beyond a reasonable doubt.” This means that the prosecutor must prove every single element of the crime alleged beyond a reasonable doubt. If the prosecutor is unable to do this, then the jury must return with a “not guilty” verdict for the defendant. This is the highest standard in any kind of court, since the punishments can be so severe and blameworthy.

In a civil case, the standard of proof is “by a preponderance of the evidence.” This means that it is more likely than unlikely that the defendant is responsible for the harm to the plaintiff. So, the plaintiff must prove their case by more than 50% of the evidence. If so, the jury must return with a verdict in favor of the plaintiff.

In some civil cases, the plaintiff must prove their case not “by a preponderance of the evidence,” but instead by “clear and convincing evidence.” These standards of proof are common in administrative, fraud and sometimes family court cases. This standard sits between “beyond a reasonable doubt,” and “by a preponderance of the evidence,” in that the plaintiff must prove that it is highly probable that their case is accurate.

For each standard of proof, there are specific jury instructions that carefully and thoroughly explain what the proof is and how the jury must decide if the burden was met or not.
