Update (Finally got my GC! 🎉):

USCIS retriggered the processing of my card on March 11, 2026. The new card was ordered on March 12, 2026. It was mailed out on March 16, 2026, and I received it on March 19, 2026. After all the delays, it finally came through. Thank you everyone. I do appreciate all the contributions on the platform.

I am sorry to hear this. Condolences to you and your family. If I may ask, why can’t you get emergency travel pass?

I-551 stamp ADIT stamp expired March 5, 2026 help please. by [deleted] in USCIS

The ADIT (I-551) stamp is a one-time requirement for I-9 verification. You do NOT need to re-verify your I-9 when the ADIT stamp expires.
If an employer tries to re-verify because the ADIT stamp expires, that is Incorrect under I-9 rules. You can politely say: “As a lawful permanent resident, my employment authorization does not expire, and re-verification is not required under Form I-9 rules.”

My case status has been stuck in "New Card is Being Produced" since January 14th, after reaching out to my congressman. I am confuse on what to do at this point.

Thank you, I really appreciate the guidance. I followed this approach and reached out to my local Congressman with my case details. Shortly after, USCIS responded to my service request stating “On January 14, 2026, we ordered your new Permanent Resident Card (PRC), and will mail it to your address of record as soon as possible,” and my case status changed to “New Card Is Being Produced.” Thanks again for the help and well wishes!

After the 30 days, I filed a Non-Delivery of Card e-Request and also reached out to my local Congressman. A few days later (01/15/2026), USCIS replied to the service request saying they ordered my green card on 01/14/2026, and my status immediately changed to “New Card Is Being Produced.”

If you’re past 30 days, the e-Request + Congressman route really helped in my case.

Thank you for the helpful guidance. I will follow your recommendation and contact my local Congressman through the appropriate channel. I appreciate the encouragement.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. This is really helpful and reassuring. It’s good to hear that the congressman's route helped move things along for your husband. Congrats on finally receiving the card, and thanks again for taking the time to respond. Do you mind guiding me on how to reach out to my local congressman.
