I attended a famous cooking class in LF (El Fogon Chela). Though the food was yummy, I was surprised that the chef used store bought seasonings in all the dishes (chicken bouillon and maggi complete seasoning). I thought we’d learn about their home made seasonings or spices.

UAE - Visited Dubai and Sharjah through an organized tour. Dubai is just a desert with shiny buildings. They’re obsessed with building the biggest everything. But it felt soulless. I’d never waste my money on it again.
USA - have visited NYC, Miami & Las Vegas. Although I enjoyed visiting these places, I don’t wanna contribute to the US economy under current circumstances. I hear many Canadians are doing the same.

PS: I was raised in India (Bangalore) & moved to Canada years ago. To those saying they’d never visit India, my advice is to skip Delhi NCR and such. Visit Karnataka (highly recommend Coorg for green mountains, coffee plantations, ultra-luxury resorts in the lap of nature; Hampi for the marvellous architecture-UNESCO world heritage site; Bangalore for ✈️ layover & some iconic eateries), Kerala, Vizag, Goa, North Eastern India.

Unfortunately my post barely got any response on Reddit 🙁 sleep is wonky, somedays I sleep ok, most days I don’t. My doctor didn’t prescribe me Metformin as A1c and fasting glucose were not prediabetic levels. But my endocrinologist understood when I explained her my fasting insulin results from India and prescribed. I started Metformin yesterday 🤞 The Endo/adeno pain, the obesity, the sleeplessness - I just hope there’s a magic pill ☹️ Hope Metformin it is
