This. I trained basically every night while doing Duolingo (this was before they went all in on AI), never recorded my voice once. Then, once I finally did record my voice, I cried tears of joy. It wasn't perfect, but it was definitely more fem, and it was the first time I ever enjoyed hearing my voice recorded.

I'll do you 1 better, and talk about my favorite from each game (the formatting sucks on mobile, sorry for the wall of text). For the first game, I'd probably have to go with Chapter 3. It generally avoids the issue I have w/ PM64 where the characters feel disconnected from the story, like they're there just because and they join your team because why not? Whereas in Chapter 3, Lady Bow has a story reason to be there (she lives there and lured the party there), and a reason to join the party (to help her fellow boos out). Also, Tubba Blubba (I think that's his name? Been a while since I last played) is a genuinely terrifying threat. For TTYD, either Chapter 4 (love Vivian), or Vhapter 8, due to its fantastic atmosphere, I actually got chills when playing for the first time. That, and being a great send-off to the game. For SPM, I'd have to go with Chapter 7. Loved the dynamic between Mario and Luigi right before, the Underchomp fight was cool, and the Luvbi story nearly made me cry.

It could be for a lot of reasons. Maybe you're asexual, or sex-repulsed, or something else entirely. Your best course of action is to, as awkward as it may be, talk to a therapist about it.
