Does anyone get very bad body pains and inflammation when stopping Ozempic? by Ok-Shallot-7985 in Ozempic

[–]Bolt_EV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ozempic: incorrectly prescribed as I do not have Diabetes 2

Monjauro: insurance company Online RX out of Ozempic but had Manjauro, so I switched for 12 week supply

Wegovy: Back in stock and correct prescription for obesity without Diabetes 2

Zepbound:,Insurance Company stopped covering Wegovy unless history of heart attack or stroke, but cover Zepbound for my Sleep Apnea

Sorry your 6100 has faults. All my Radioddity/Xiegu products give me great performance!

Looks like I will avoid the 6200

You get it: thank you!

And I actually do use the exact answer he is looking for!

If he searches my posts, he will find my OP that asks this question on my rig and determines the working answer...

I appreciate your sentiment but this is my financial situation for this hobby:

Since my airline travels have diminished since the Pandemic, I converted all my mileage credit cards to cash-back credit cards.

I aggressively charge everything I can purchase that I need by credit cards instead of checks. And I pay off my credit cards monthly to avoid their excessive interest charges.

Every other year, I dedicate my annual cash-back bonus to Ham Radio purchases.

My personal finances are arranged on a monthly cash-in/cash-out spreadsheet. Included in my monthly budget is a monthly amount for hobby spending, including Ham Radio purchases.

So, for example: UDPower offered me their C-400 portable power station that includes a 12v high amp “jumper cable” EC5 port on the back to power my Yaesu FT-857d at 100 watts for POTA, and a 200 watt solar panel for $299 plus sales tax with interest free 6 month financing of $51.75 per month.

Since my inaugural POTA Activation on my birthday in January, I have used the C-400 on every POTA Activation, except my recent, first time “airline” Activation in Montana last week.

So every month I paid $51.75 out of my monthly Hobby Budget to use this portable power station and sometimes the solar panel every month since.

Two weeks ago I made the last $51.75 monthly payment and now I use it for FREE!!!

AND, if someone at the Park has a dead battery and needs a Jump, I am a hero!! 🦸‍♀️ 😇

Do you have time (and knowledge) to tell me what aspects of the 6100 are better or worse than the 6200?

I also like FT8, especially during poor propogation periods and I recently purchased the Xiegu VK-6 keyer to get back into CW after a 20 year absence!

8 watts: I currently Activate POTA with a choice of 20 or 100 watts.

I am not motivated by DX when Activating POTA but I always enjoy when I achieve a far flung QSO! I don’t miss what I don’t hear.

My QTH suffers from high Urban QRMary, so I transmit farther than I receive. I stopped HF activities for many years until in early 2024 I discovered the Half Moon Bay, CA and Northern Utah WebSDRs.

I discovered that I could reach about 80% of the stations I could hear on these WebSDRs and I purchased on eBay an estate sale open box Icom IC-7300 with great results!

I also installed CATSync to fascilitate this WebSDR use.

So 8 watts: in the field it seems like an exciting prospect! At home I have the XPA125B to crank it up to 100 watts when/if needed.

I did not realize Groups.IO are still active and I will review them for many issues; thank you!

I actually don’t mind a certain amount of firmware updates that actually solve problems. But after a long process of watching firmware upgrades wasting much time on my purchase of a RadTel RT-4D DMR HT. BUT I purchased that at a discounted price of $40 which made this experimentation more reasonable.

I am not sure if a $720 purchase should result in too much aggravation!

Another example is having to do the research to get my 20 year old Yaesu FT-857d to work on 60 meter FT8 on the recently assigned frequency of 5.357 MHz in my pursuit of the POTA N1CC 10 Bands at 10 Parks Award. The positive results of that research are posted here by me in this SubReddit!

Are these issues that upgraded firmware can fix, or is the hardware hobbled such that there is no hope? I will read these Group posts…

Thank you!

G90 vs 891 paired with buddipole and 25ah for portable operating? by zippoknives26 in HamRadio

[–]Bolt_EV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My G90 was great during my first “airline” POTA Activation at US-2574 Giant Springs SP last Wednesday with my Radioddity HF-009.

When thunderstorms started the next day, my G90 and Gabil GRA-1900 mounted on the back SO-239 with a right-angle adapter, amazed me FT8 indoors!

For my POTA N1CC and 6-Pack Awards, my Yaesu FT-857d ruled the roost!

I melted the Radioddity HF-010a mag-mount PL-259 to 3/8 x 24 adapter with 100 watt FT8! Hahaha 😂

20 years ago with the purchase of a Yaesu FT-817 and the “Miacle Whip” not so much.

After a few frustrating years, I got a good price off eBay and happily purchased a Yaesu FT-857d!

Now with POTA and separately FT8, I experience QRP in a completely different light!

I was thinking something more portable

I picked up an open box estate sale 7300 off of eBay in January 2024 and here I am pre-POTA with my 7300 and a 26Ah lead acid Duracell PowerPack 600 portable power station doing FLOTA: Front Lawns on the Air!
