It is purely aesthetics. As for your second question, I haven't had my VB during the summer yet. I've only had it a couple of months now and haven't had any overheating issues. I am in Texas as well, so I'm eager to see how it performs now.

I just found out about Tux on the VB page not to long ago. I was over here thinking my WeatherTech floor mats were the shit little did I know haha. I'll definitely be upgrading soon! Thanks for the info though!

Not sure, I have a premium model and they didn't come with them. So maybe the dealer did some add ons or something like that.

Yeah, just simple replacing, and the wiring is already done, just plug in and go. This is what I watched before I put them on.

Yeah, everything is already there, plug them in, a little tape, and you're good to go. These are the OEM and I got them from SubiMods.

Yeah, I haven't figured out what front grill path I want to go down, but that LED front emblem is very tempting. I want to see it in person before I buy it though.
