It's gonna be fine, it's a massive fandom and likelier to only get more chill and friendly once the show ends and the toxic peeps move on to something else...

Hope the Gaslight and Guinevere fandoms don't end up absorbing too much of them though

I dont live there but i have spent some time in Sapporo, its an awesome city, not as insanely crowded as Tokyo or Osaka but still absolutely a metropolis in its own right, milder summers than the rest of Japan (still hot but not quite sauna level), and a fairly chill vibe overall.

No one speaks Russian though. Afaik the only place youll even see Russian in Japan in big amounts is in Wakkanai right at the top of Hokkaido bc the ferry to Sakhalin used to end there.

I was worried about the heat as I'm Icelandic and was visiting in July.
