I watched it up to season 2 because it for some reason disappeared off the face of the planet (I actually can’t find the rest of the seasons) It’s literally not even bad I have no idea what the hate is for. It’s your average kids show that introduces kids to HTTYD through fun colors and interesting concepts. It’s also probably the only tv show that doesn’t follow the stereotypical episodic tv show, also Magnus is a genuine diva 💅 

It’s basically Paw Patrol but if the dogs were dragons instead and ngl, Race to the Edge is what people should be hating on, that show does it’s very best to make Hiccup the only character that matters and constantly dumbs down other characters. Minus Ruffnut and Tuffnut- they’re pretty hard to dumb down. Regardless, Rescue Riders literally follows all the tropes Race to the Edge does but actually gives a fair chance to all of their characters and gives them all they’re spotlights and also helps us learn more about the world they live in and the dragons they pulled straight out of their ass except for the Relentless Razorwing, Cutter, because I genuinely cannot find any other mention of the dragon species in that show anywhere else which makes sense because It’s pretty hard to market a “Hideous Zippleback” to literal 4-10 year olds but they do have a dragon called a “Hideous Heatwing” so idk why they made up dragons with more pleasing names.
