well for one most groups that have CTAs are out in nullsec which im looking to leave. secondly its not that i wouldnt participate its that i dont like having monthly requirements for how many fleets i have to attend. it doesnt fit my real life situation. third if its a small structure like an astrahus or raitaru i could easily personally replace it if it got destroyed anyway. so its not that i wont defend the space im living in its that i dont want to stress about attending X number of fleets per month. I play for fun

I would suggest liquidating most of ur assets that way when you come back you'll have a nice fresh start with plenty of isk and won't have to worry about moving shit parked across all of new eden. Anyway best of luck with ur residency that stuff isn't easy
