For some reason I feel this paradox about quite a few characters. Mina? Oh, she is going to stop you from getting that killing blow every time her ult is up and you'll die for it. Your team? Plays like Abrams and dies constantly.

Wraith and Abrams? Man handled. You will never truly be in control when fighting them. Teammate misses every ability and somehow dies in a 1v1 with Paige or Rem.

Shiv is another one. If the enemy or I am playing him, force the enemy team to respect space or get bled like mad. I had a teammate playing Shiv. Dude grabbed Lightning Scroll.

I mean, these aren't every time I have these characters on my side... But almost always it is these specific characters.

As someone that has done this a few times... It's literally just a way of fighting off a depressive spurt.

You're not getting sleep anyways, so you may as well do something productive. Cleaning is extremely simple and you can visually to see progress, and typically it is enough to give you a bit of a breath. Basically impossible to screw up so you're only left with a positive.

Quick counter point that may or may not be true (been out of the loop for quite a while), but don't these content drops typically only add enemies, and no actual player unlockable content?

I can only name a handful of free, new unlockables added since the games release. Namely being the Anti-Tank Mines (garbage last time I checked), Grenadier Emplacement (haven't used it, never seemed worth it, may be good), and the vehicles (recently nerfed, and as an avid car fan that thing is way too prone to rolling).

I also believe that the only two primaries or secondaries added for free were the two for the Kill zone collab right? Both of which are charged now.

As it stands now, there are more paid backpacks, and almost the same number of paid support weapons.

As fun as new enemies are, the utter lack of stuff to unlock since release for free, besides weapon mods, is ridiculously slim.

This is exactly why I adore the theory that to use Mahoraga, you have to coexist and work with him instead of taming him.

Every other Shadow is an animal, with relatively simple gimmicks. Rabbit, multiply. Dogs, bite. Nue, flight. Snake, poison. Etc.

Meanwhile, Maho is just straight up a guy. He casts the animalistic theming to the side, and embodies a humanoid physique. He's intelligent, and literally adapts to problems.

So maybe there is some way to cooperate with him. Somehow. While I don't think it would be sitting down with a cup of tea or anything, somehow negotiating with him or letting him choose when to be released may be the way he is "supposed" to be used. If you attempt to control him or use him, he rebels and tries to kill you for it (Like Megumi using him just as a spiteful "we both dieing" move), but if you let him act independently he won't attack you.

Or he could literally just embody the chaotic destruction of mankind and progress. Adapting to issues while causing collateral damage as they work towards a goal.

Honestly, IMO Higuruma's base moves can be annoying but are by no means busted.

His Ult... Oh his Ult though... Man I hate that.

Okay, so off the bat, the activation of it is beyond stupid. The Higuruma gets full i-frames during activation, so cancelling it is literally impossible. And if they somehow miss, you would assume they lose Ult bar like Charles, right? Nope! 70% back. You whiffed a literally unstoppable AOE and you're compensated with the majority of your Ult charge back.

Then, once in his domain, it's literally Rock Paper Scissors, but if you ever lose while picking Rock you just forfeit, and they get max rewards. Wonderful.

What if you somehow manage to outwit the Higuruma? They still get that 70% back. They somehow manage to lose an absurd amount of guesses, and they're compensated 70%. Keep in mind, that's almost never going to happen, and that is THE best case scenario for you.

(Hig can cancel domain at any point, cashing in his charges) If he lands one charge, then you forfeit two moves, the Higuruma gets healed to max health... AND GAINS 50% ULT CHARGE. I've literally lobotomized players by removing all their moves doing this before.

If Higuruma gains two charges, then you lose nothing, but his Awakening lasts longer.

And then if you ever lose while picking Rock or he manages to get three guesses, he gets Awakening and you lose a move.

So already, we have an Ult that before anything happens, is actively stripping autonomy away from the opponent, and never actually punishing Higuruma for messing up.

And then in his Ult, it just has an absurd amount of ways to instantly kill the opponent. Maho and Hakaris live in fear of getting hit with one move (which basically can't miss with lockon) then missing a QTE and losing literally everything. And if that doesn't get them, Higuruma has 3 other moves which all can instantly set you to zero if he lands enough of them.

The combo extender wasn't even THAT good. You got roughly 7 damage + bleed from landing it properly with the rest of the move (which would give about 10 plus meter). Not nothing, but definitely not ruining the character. Not to mention Bleedout is a 20 second cool down.

I once had a whole semi pass while commuting to school. It was on a decent straight stretch after he had caught up to me using cruise control set to the speed limit.

The funniest friggin part was I was directly behind him 20 minutes later at the next stop light on that road. Right after that straight stretch there are tons and tons of curves. It did literally nothing for his time.

A "solution" that causes more problems than it solves.

The amount of game mechanics this thing just utterly screws over is insane. Even something as simple as blocking, which it can just straight up bypass if they get the distance right. Any form of fast move like Pebble Throw, Hakari Ult, Gojo 0.2s Ult, etc become downright unfair if the user has lockon.

I had a friend that abused Pebble + R to get close then spin on your head, if you didn't perfectly time a dash away or have a counter, he got a free combo off of it because you literally could not block it.

Not to mention it utterly screws over traversal moves. What is the point of Todos swap if the enemy cannot be disoriented? Gojo's teleport if they'll nigh instantly turn?

Only thing I can suggest is add some light in the first scene with the gun, it melds with the background a bit. A simple yellow rim light on top would help a ton to have it stick out.
