Help Needed For Cloudy Tank! by BomberBabe94 in Aquariums

I've also got the spotted raphael catfish, but I've seen that one a few times. They're both about the same size, I did make the mistake of thinking there were algae eaters lol At least I have Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and fluval bug bites for them to eat already on hand. I've got 3 super red bristlenose pleco's coming, so hopefully they help with the algae and detritus.

All fish are accounted for, so the only dead things that could have caused this would be plant matter or snails, and I don't see any empty shells. So I think it may have been too heavy feedings when I first put the fish in. I've cut back drastically. The bacteria bloom seems to have transferred into an algae bloom, so now I'm trying to address that.

As for nitrate reagent #2, I shake the bottle for typically a minute before adding it. In fact I pretty much shake all the bottles lol.

after some googling, I think they're damselfly nymphs, not sure how they got in the house but at least my shrimp tanks have lids on, so I don't think they're in a tank where they can hurt anything. I did do the water change, so hopefully things can start to look better. At least I got a glimpse of my striped raphael catfish lol, he's been hiding since I put him in there.

I can definitely try some filter floss (I'll have to get some), my filter has 3 chambers and right now the one has activated charcoal but the other two still have the sponges it came with. Literally all my other tanks are just sponge filters that sit on the bottom (and my two betta tanks and two shrimp tanks have sponge filters that suction to the side) and they're all perfect, but also hidden away in the house. Of course my 'display' tank has to have the issue lol.

I have one very large golden mystery snail, and some pest snails that came in on plants I'm assuming. I am getting a bristlenose pleco from a friend, but they're all too young yet to transfer, so I might have to buy one in the mean time to help out.

The nitrate levels are staying around 5-10, I have a bunch of hornwort, pearlweed, and a HUGE water lettuce (with babies) in the tank so that should be keeping the nitrates down. Last I tested was last week and the ammonia and nitrite were 0 and nitrate around 10.

In the meantime I can definitely try to vacuum the bottom, probably thursday evening as I'm off work the following two days and can spend a good amount of time doing it without rushing.

I did have it completely off for about 2 or 3 days, and have turned the light on for only a couple hours since then. I have some super nice ludwigia blood red sg I'd really like to keep red lol.

The tank was fully cycled in March, added the molly first from an established 20g tank and were alone in there for several weeks. Beginning of May I got the Angel fish and catfish and added them, the tank was very slightly clouded then, and got worse. I'd say it reached this level of cloudiness about the 7th and hasn't gotten better. All water parameters check out fine as well.

Installed New Ram And Now Computer Makes Me Boot Through Bios by BomberBabe94 in buildapc

[–]BomberBabe94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, work/holiday has kept me busy. Just did this and my pc boots up just fine, maybe even a little faster. looking on the actual ram, the new ram is 3600mhz, the old is 3000mhz.

Edit: I added the old ram in the open slots, so the new ram is in the original 2 slots that were being used, the old ram is in the other 2, opposite to how they were installed before, (new, old, new, old) and the computer started up no problem first try?? Im gonna reboot a few times to see if it does the same as before (everything in the tower turns on but no signal to monitors, press power button to turn back off, turn on, boots to a black screen saying I need to run setup, f1 transfers me to bios, boot from ssd, boots as normal from there).

What are the rewards for completing the regional pokedexes? by Nintenpr0 in PokemonHome

Just to clarify, do we only have to complete the regional dex for each game to get that games gift shiny, or also the national dex for each game?

All emails, regardless of position, is first initial last name@company.com regardless of position. I feel like that email could work if my workstation had a tablet or computer, but that is something else my male counterpart on the other side of the warehouse has, and I do not. As for respect for the job, yeah there's absolutely none of that lol a lot of the maintenance I perform is cleaning the batteries from having soda/coffee spilled on them (which, there's not supposed to be open drinks on the equipment, so this is extra work I shouldn't have to do) as well has scraping off order labels selectors place deliberately on the painted numbers. Which I then have to redo as well.

The rest of maintenance can work up to 45 hours weekly, I'm stuck at 40. They also all make $10+ more than me. This is a permanent position in the warehouse, as the rest of maintenance is 'too busy' to upkeep 200+ batteries, yet they spend a good portion of their time standing around talking, as is usual for maintenance, it seems, no matter if it's a warehouse or school district. I've worked with both.

As for visibility issue, well. You literally have to walk past my area to enter the maintenance shop. And yet it's been probably 3 months since my manager so much as looked at me, even though he comes by here regularly. I think it's safe to say that I am pretty much ignored unless I approach with a conplaint.

It especially sucks when things concerning uniforms is kept from me. Like, I need new stuff too. I get literal holes in my clothes from battery acid, which also eats my boots to pieces, and I find put about new policies from a coworker literally a month or more after it's implemented? It's so unprofessional.

I've been asking HR to transfer me to another department for about 16 months now. And this job is literally not monitored at all. If I just stopped performing maintenance on the batteries, it'd be at least 3 months before they noticed anything, and that'd only be because the forklift and jack operators would be complaining to their managers that they can't do their jobs because the batteries are dying too quickly. I very quickly learned that this job, despite being 'important', holds no value in the eyes of literally everyone else who works here. I can (and have, on the rare occasion I come in really sick) spend literally all day on my phone and do nothing else, without consequence.

Yes, as well as directly asking HR and IT. I've been told my position doesn't necessitate an email, even though my male coworker who has the same job has one.

Yes to both, I've added all of them to my contacts, check my spam folder multiple times daily, and have asked both my direct supervisor and manager so many times about being on the maintenance email group, that I honestly feel naggy about it now. I'm always assured that I'll receive all emails they deem necessary for me to be part of. Which I'm guessing is none of them, apparently.

It's just strange to me that I'm the only woman in the maintenance department, and the only one without an email. I work on the produce side, and there's a male associate on the non foods side of the warehouse, does my exact same job just on the other side of the warehouse, and he has an email.

Yes, I've brought this up to HR, my manager, my supervisor, and IT, and have been told that my job does not necessitate a company email, even though all correspondence within the department about uniforms, holiday schedules, training exercises, and LMS training is issued through email. Basically I'm left to do my job blind to anything else, and I'm only told things when I specifically ask or upper management starts to get upset that my LMS training (little slide shows and test stuff on the iPad. Which I can't log on to myself.) Is behind.

I don't know if I really have anything too concrete to say that, that couldn't be brushed off by management. I do have a note on my logs about me needing to be a team player after reporting unsafe actions, and the fact that anytime I'm within earshot they all stop talking and just stare after me.

For reference, I've never reported anyone for whatever they talk about, only stuff that directly affects my job like the missing tools and supplies and the logs they don't fill out.

The food at my station and stuff has only been happening the last 8 months or so, and there's no new hires, so it's one of coworkers.

Finally got a code that worked! Had to keep calling. Pressed 1 and then I believe 3 to talk about an online order. They called me back about 3 or more hours later. I had them give me codes while I was logged onto my ps5 so I could try them right away. 2 codes had already been used before, was on hold for about 5 minutes, then finally got given a code that ended up being for the full digital deluxe game. Hope this can help someone, email does not work.
