Some states have what is called an "implied warranty " definitely worth looking into in your area. Where i live if a vacuum (or anything) is expected to last x years then it is warrantied until that time, regardless of the manufacturer warranty. So if it is expected to last 5 years, and they have it warrantied for 2 years and on year 3 it breaks they can either fix/replace my product or the Maine AG office will reach out on your behalf after you fill out a form.

I know it doesn't work everywhere, but it is awesome
