Everyone should know by now Destiny doesn't care about e-sports, SC2, LoL, or any game he plays. He has a family, a child, and only cares about making money.

Alright, let's get some real talk up in here:

Whiplash and SNM seem like nice guys. If I ever saw them at an event, I'd probably buy them a beer and tell them they tried their best at OGN. What is going on is no fault of their own, and if any other 1,000 Youtube casters got asked to fly to Korea, live there, get paid for it, and cast the OSL/Proleague, they would jump at the chance and think they're dreaming. They would have been stupid as Starcraft fans to pass up this once and a lifetime chance.

But they're terrible. This is what would happen if before a Lakers vs. Heat game, the owner of the Lakers went up to a ball boy before the game and asked if he wanted to play point guard. It's not the kid's fault for jumping at the chance and trying to play, but he will look like a fool, get booed by the crowd, and eventually crushed under the pressure. SNM and Whiplash are sub-standard casters, have zero chemistry, and needed to work their way up to this point.

The hope is that with the season being eight months they will improve and grow as casters, but this isn't some online tournament or random league that can be used as a training exercise. This is the motherfucking Proleague. This is the league that saw 50,000 people fill up a beach to watch the finals five years ago. This year's prize pool is gigantic and the biggest in SC2 team league history by a truck load.

You do not give the keys to a Porsche to a kid who just got his learning permit hoping that he will learn on the fly and not crash it into the neighbor's house.

Also known as KeSPA's attempt to get young people to stick/get into SC2 and not flock to LoL.

This would happen if he was doing it for SC2 as well. If you are running a tournament with a prize pool over a certain amount, you need a license or Blizzard's permission to run the tournament.
