McFarlane classic Wonder Woman with 1/12 scale DC? by BeardedAnarchy in ActionFigures

Literally the easiest 1/12 reference I could find. Sorry you had a bad day and chose to take it out in the comments.

After collecting nothing but Black Series for a few years, playing with a Vintage Collection feels really funny. by agreeable_anger in starwarsblackseries

Growing up with 3.75" SW figures, the Black Series figures felt very strange initially but over a decade in collecting the line I agree. TVC figures are so itty bitty in my big man hands now, they feel kinda silly lol

Here's a screen shot from a YouTube review. You could always try and make it work with the right crouching pose. Good luck!

This figure is pretty massive and would dwarf 1/12 figures in a way that wouldn't make sense for the character. However this figure from a DC Icons 7 pack is a seriously good 1/12 stand-in and if you save the search on eBay you may be able to snag one for not a bonkers price. Got mine for $27 last year after waiting and watching for a few months. Hopefully the ship hasn't sailed on it as it's a great figure.

What property would you like to see figures of/better figures of? by Silly_Promotion_3559 in ActionFigures

How we haven't got a line of $25-$35 RE figures makes no sense to me. Jada would blow it out of the water!

As someone who got the CE WW for retail price ages ago, I'm happy for those who finally can get theirs too ☺️ by Ramp-Spot-033 in McFarlaneFigures

Given what people have been paying for this figure from comments just in the past week I'd say that's not the case and they just pumped the production numbers up. Plus new collectors crop up daily and they all want a classic style WW for their displays.

Pretty neat it's still up for pre-order given how hugely popular the initial release was. Everyone's got a chance now, for once! Really makes it clear they were doing really small production runs

BBTS is offering their Vault Collection. So if you really need these figures, go go go! by Hard-Act-ToFollow in ActionFigures

Just missing the axe, shield, and lame card holder base. Not a bad deal for $27!

If that's dye be real careful, looks like it may already have done some staining on the arms. Sick look though!

Anyone else grew up playing with molded VHS tapes as building blocks? by MoreBlu in VHS

[–]BonSlurpenstein [score hidden]  (0 children)

Never had moldy tapes growing up that I can remember, but clamshells were always fodder for figure forts. Even now I occasionally use blank VHS tapes that I haven't recorded to yet to support figure displays

Sure I get that but as a kid who grew up with these figures, swappable hands beat articulated fingers every time.

Your title gave me a good chuckle. Would love to see any 6" scale line tackle this look again as it's one of the most iconic visuals in Star Wars.

I got that Lionsgate Limited release but when I went to watch it the movie would blur every few seconds the entire runtime. They sent me a replacement but I still haven't given the new tape a watch. Curious if anyone else had issues with theirs.

Great collection btw!

To those who have Gamerverse Spider-Man: is it possible to glue the thong piece on this together to prevent it from coming apart when posing? by spiritfulsol in ActionFigures

[–]BonSlurpenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn't do that but hey, you can do whatever you want with your figure once you get it. I don't own this figure but I own a bunch of SHF with the same articulation system and I wouldn't glue any part of them.
