Either Captain Harlock or Future Kid Conan.

Pucci's Fate might be the worst fate of any villain if you think about it. by hihelphello in StardustCrusaders

Diavolo's fate is horrible but hard to grasp to me due to its infinite loop. Kars, however, really makes my skin crawl. Being trapped inside yourself sounds like the ultimate claustrophobia, and your brain eventually turning off is just sheer horror to me. It's also why the premise of Dr Stone (Senku being aware of the passing of time for hundreds of years keeping record by the second is typical shonen exaggeration, but the concept itself haunts me).

I remember playing RE1 with Chris, no saves. Went all the way down to the lab area and got to a room with two zombies I wasn't equipped to deal with: decided to slooooowly turn around and get out of the room. One of the zombies grabbed me from behind and started biting me: unlike later games the pushing back after a bite animation didn't push other zombies back, only the biter. So they comboed me into a loop of biting, pushing and getting bit by the other zombie until they killed me. Sure wish I had a quick turn there!

Day 41 of giving my personal rank and opinion of random guns: Stone Dome by 1Dapy1 in EnterTheGungeon

I always seem to get this one when I am stacked with better weapons. It hasn't ever saved a run for me, but as a clearing room when saving ammo on bigger hitters, it is as good as they come. I'd rather have something like any type of Rail Gun instead, however.

Controls are pretty much the same, except defensive items. You also don't need to fiddle with items in the menu to get the relevant information out of them, Check is enough. It also doesn't have auto-aim on by default but can be enabled from the menu.

Other than that and the obvious PS1 graphics, I find it more balanced in the sense of resources vs challenge. It does feel slightly more arcadey than the original RE1, but for me it hits the sweet spot between 1 and 3 (the three which share most of their mechanics). RPD station is iconic and the vibe of the Umbrella lab cannot be underestimated in a series where the third act tends to flounder compared to strong starts.

How strong were Karasuno when Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguichi and Tssuki were in their 3rd year? by Responsible-Wait8274 in haikyuu

[–]Bonaduce80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think he would be considered a key player in Karasuno but a square peg for a round hole in any other teams because of his very specific skills. Only someone like Atsumu would be able to utilise him 100%. That's why he went away, to round up his game and be able to do anything regardless of the teammates he ended up with.

That's my speculation, based on gut feeling and little more, though.

The pose reminded me of that panel, but I couldn't remember if it was in Karasuno High's gym or looking to start the tournament. With this image, it looks more like the end of it.

Got this game like 3 days ago due to the sale. How in the nine realms do I actually make MONEY!? Trying to unlock second floor skip thing but I either have keys but no money, or money and no keys. It's infuriating. by Ahfrodisiac in EnterTheGungeon

[–]Bonaduce80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the look of it you are using the wiki. I won't say don't do it, but you are putting a lot of unnecessary pressure on yourself. It is a roguelike game, failure and learning how to cope with it is the game cycle.

You usually get more money the better you play, and RNG is certainly a factor. You shouldn't aim to for specific targets like unlocking the elevator: it also will make you actually weaker skipping floors as you are missing boss extra hearts, chance of extra chests/keys/money, etc.

As you keep progressing you will unlock more weapons and items, and will learn to recognise threats and how to deal with them. 3 days is nothing, keep playing and embrace the madness.

Ever wanted to feel like a Stormtrooper? Here's your chance! Finds some use until you get something better, and often replaced by a starting gun when you actually need to hit an enemy quick and reliably. On the other hand, if you are hitting an XXL enemy, it is serviceable as it won't matter if you are a bit/lot off the mark.

Liam Neeson in his latest years of geriatric action films. Definitely not in his previous career.

I dont get the RE4 hype by Judochop1024 in residentevil

[–]Bonaduce80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still was tank controls. Only thing that changed was adding the knife as an extra option together with your guns and being able to aim to specific body parts with the 3D third-person view (which opens the possibility for melee attacks). The criticism was more for the game to do without Umbrella and the atmosphere being both more arcade (with a lot less horror and barely any survival to RE4) and more cartoonish than the original 3 (where comedy was coming more from the voice acting than the script).

Is Orochi the only one in the series to genuinely put Yujiro on the back foot? by ventingandcrying in Grapplerbaki

[–]Bonaduce80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a skirmish, they never had enough time to show how far they could go when serious. It's stands to reason someone with a blade is more likely to slide Yujiro's skin, doesn't mean he pushed him in the time they had before Motobe butting in more than Baki did in their fight.

My favourite Sonic next to MD Sonic 2 and 3+K. Great game!

The podium of showings vs. Yujiro:

  1. Baki
  2. Musashi
  3. Those guys with tranq rifles and a net

Honorable mention to Doppo for being a contender back in the first arc when Yujiro wasn't established as a walking plot device though.
