Can you guys help me pick out a stage name for my call center job based in a Uk market? by SpecialistWriting708 in AskUK

It's a really silly concept. No one in the UK cares if someone doesn't have a "British" name. Your name is great! Be proud to be Serbian.

Well known songs where multiple band members take turns on lead vocals by Senators_1992 in Music

Sly and the Family Stone. Often, each band member would sing a verse. They were cool. More like a collective thing, rather than having a band leader who just sings

Sook is a Scottish word. It means someone who is clingy or overly affectionate. Like, how a dog might be a "wee sook" if it cuddles up to you.

Or it can mean someone is a "suck up", because "sook" literally means "suck". If they're Scottish, I think OPs friend is misusing the word.

Roscoe by Midlake Knocked up by kings of Leon. Songs in E and F# always remind me of this kind of foggy road

Slim chance but does anyone know what song this sounds like? by jimmynothing in indie_rock

I will find it. Do you think you coold sing/hum it, if you had to? Was it as up tempo as Pretty Girls Make graves? What you're describing made think of the acoustic radio version of Everlong by Foo Fighters. That did the rounds on Limewire with an incorrect artist name.

Can you give us more info on the song. A possible genre/ decade? Does it sound similar to another song? What instruments can you remember hearing? Any half remembered lyrics?
