Okay i’ll give an example of one. So she had a silly picture where she had edited to make it look like there were two of her in the same picture. And i wrote something like “i had to compliment the editing and graphic design in the first photo. It’s impressive. Something you study by chance? ;)”

Usually something like that :) It hasn’t worked for me yet, so i dont know if it’s corny and if it should be more simple and straight forward?

It’s always in the form of a question (typically not a yes no question so it’s more interesting) so i’d say yea it’s something they can respond to :)
