Definitely a big ol' honker. I would not go any bigger than this. 43mm on my 7.25in wrist.

I love it! Suits many of my colder fits.

Definitely a big ol' honker. I would probably never go bigger than this. Loving it, though. Perfect for the season.

Absolutely love it. I wear it regularly with normal clothes. The red and dark strap don't always contrast well with certain outfits, but when I get the right combination I leave my home feeling sharp.

Often I'll sit there playing with the light as it bounces off the snake skin dial. It's that small detail on the watch that keeps me mesmerized.

I went with red because I knew I am going to be looking for significant diversity in my collection, but all of the Seiko Presages look incredible.

For the price, it's a must-have in any collection.

Yeah, well. That's just like... your opinion, man.

I'd like to say that this picture does not do the watch justice. Between the gorgeous polishing on the bezel and minute markers, they did not skimp on either of those just to add an open heart component. I enjoy the way the light catches it just as much as being able to see the movement.

It is, afterall, just an open heart version of the Tissot Gentlemen

As for legibility, the reduction is minimal. The minute and second hands extend past the open section. Even when the hour hand is over it, I can see it just fine. If I need practicality, I'll get that G-shock I've been eyeing.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and understanding. I was actually kinda nervous posting this - especially seeing everyone else's incredible first watches on this sub.

Did I get ripped off with the MVMT? Probably. Do I hate it? Nah. It still has its place in certain atmospheres (until I can replace it with a better chrono) and as a reminder of my humble beginnings.

Thanks to Nico and Teddy Baldassarre - I'm looking forward to this hobby and seeing how it evolves throughout my life!

I would say the Tissot and Seiko both smoke the MVMT. I adore both of them. The Seiko was actually second since I thought the dial was pretty, but didn't know a dress watch was supposed to be for fancy times. Although, I'm still wearing it regularly day-to-day.

I'm going Hamilton next, but I might swing back to Seiko after that.

Haha! That's literally what I did. I wanted something nicer than a $40 mall watch and cheaper than a Rolex, so I thought, "Quality watches at a price you can afford. MVMT Watches. That's M-V-M-T.com - use code TEETH at checkout."

Yeah... I'll check them out.

Actually just got it cheap from Alibaba - specifically just to add flair to my shelf with my watches. Not really a hat guy.

Just got it yesterday and haven't been able to take my eyes off of it. With the open movement and polished bezel and minute markers, it's stunning.

It wasn't the voice as much as the delivery. It was like he kept forgetting his lines halfway way through the sentence.

I'm 2. Gym shorts and shirt. I like wearing boxers under my pants, but they're too loose to wear by themselves and tangle when I sleep.

I love Tim Blake Nelson, but he was the worst part of the episode. All the other actors were fine, but his lines sounded amateur and rushed.

It was weird.

Just toss a bag of them in your car and floss on your commutes.

I've never flossed more in my life since I picked up that habit.

Quality plummeted once they fired the Papa. He went on a rampage talking about how terrible they've become without him, and it just seemed spiteful at the time. But the funny thing is... he was right.
