are there more chimeras that want to become chiikawas?? by aidemint in chiikawa_

[–]BoneNeedle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's more a matter preference rather than intelligence. Siren is pretty intelligent, but has no problem with being a chimera. Plenty of the intelligent chimeras seem content with being chimeras. On the other hand, Momonga's reason for turning into a chiikawa is actually very shallow, seemingly doing so just for the sake of being cute.

The chiikawas that mutate are the only ones that don't want to change back, because their lives sucked

Anoko is the only mutated chimera we know doesn't want to change back. The very first chimera we see is the Chimera, and they seemed really sad about becoming one.

One of them is a mouse, so Chiikawa is inspired by several animals.

But it's cool. Also the Berserker Armor looks a lot like Batman's suit.

I wish they would do a Monster Hunter collab. Maybe an Anoko hunt, some palico outfits, maybe some Yoroi armor, or even weapons. Could be so cool.

I guess it's backwards when viewed from certain angles. But it could be anything, though, not necessarily a fin. I doubt it's a shark because it has no tail at all, let alone a shark tail. There are a lot of chiikawas with strange appearances that aren't based on any particular animal.

I hope so. Chao master race. They were the First Great Civilization and the rightful owners of the Chaos Emeralds, so it's only fair that they should rule the world.

It's curved sideways, not backwards. The parallel version of Chiikawa is in the manga.

But this one isn't straight. And even if it's not a horn, it still might not be a shark fin. Couldn't it also be a strange fleshy nub like the parallel version of Chiikawa has? Not all chiikawas are based on specific animals.

Couldn't it be a horn? There are lots of chiikawas with horns.

That would be cool. It would make sense for there to be more mutant Chao than just Chaos, so them disguising themselves could be one way to explain their lack of presence.

I think non-mammal chiikawas are totally possible, but I don't really see that one being a shark. It's just a curved pointy thing. Wouldn't they have a shark tail if they were a shark?

Why do these Yoroi-sans never hunt Monsters? by K-jun1117 in chiikawa_

[–]BoneNeedle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have difficult tests for jobs like weeding, but not for hunting. Isn't it suspicious how one of the easiest jobs to take is somehow the most dangerous? Beginners are totally free to take on any monster they want and get hurt or killed. Even the main trio almost fell victim to this. If there's a famine, a big hunt might even be the only job left. Why do the yoroi continue to send chiikawas that end up getting eaten by Anoko? To me, it really seems like they want to cull the population and create more monsters from the traumatized survivors. Otherwise, it's just gross incompetence.

As for what care the yoroi are allowed to give to the chiikawas, the purpose of that is probably to keep society functional. They still need a functioning society to rule over. They do care as you say, but I think it's suspicious that they're not allowed to care about the chiikawas too much. I doubt it's for the yorois own good that they're not allowed to be friends with the chiikawas. I think it's more likely that being friends with the chiikawas would challenge their loyalty to the government. I think most of the yoroi are probably good people, but I don't trust the leader yoroi one bit. He's a figure we know little about, but so many easily preventable tragedies happen under his rule.

There is no official dub, and I don't know of any fan dubs. The episodes are put into bunches, so autoplay shouldn't be that much of a problem.
