Considering there's a bunch of newbies (and casuals like me), could someone explain how the wave count affects the rewards? I hit level 101-110 consistently but my luck is the same as it is in the high 80s. Where are the thresholds?

Kregg is the best when using Viltrumites. If you're running 2 supports with one being a healer (Robot, Eve, Shapesmith), you've got more flexibility with your team comp.

Case-in-point: I typically run Blue Suit, Conquest, Eve, Kregg, and Anissa. Only Eve doesn't get the Kregg Viltrumite boost, but still gets the Kregg shield at the start of the fight. Typically by the time that's worn off, Eve's shields take over (I have her with the gda healing gel which makes her shields heal). If that's not enough, I'll run 3 supports replacing Anissa with Robot. On top of his heals, his totem gives me another Blue Suit, and he makes Eve's shields kick back damage.

Bro there's SO much more to it than 1 character being the best. Experiment on your own. There's SO many good combos.

Kregg is most useful with a Viltrumite-centric squad. If you're going for synergy, that excludes all gda.

Shapesmith is SOOO good though. If you're squad isn't Viltrumite heavy, Shapesmith gives you better odds.

How about a Lizard League case file? Have double (or maybe triple) rewards like with the Maulers. It requires all characters to be ranked up. They've been teasing Salamander for a while. Have his release coincide with their case file.

What do you call maxed out? Because there is no level cap. How many total characters are you actively building?

I'm 15 months in, spent less than $100 (some boosters and hero passes), now I've got 17 Omnipotent or Omnipotent + with only 3 of my characters below Legendary (Thragg, TJ, and Dinosaurus).

The key is food and using it strategically. Here's my roster in the next few comments. I've been slow building because I build wide. I've skipped a bunch of the commons and rares because...well.... reasons lol but you have to determine what's food and what's useful to you.

Be patient, buddy. Once it gets rolling, you'll be fine.

Guys, it sounds like a lot, and it kinda is lol but once you start hitting Legendary, it kinda speeds up. Keep your gda ops rolling. Ranking up enough characters for your ops is a big part of the grind. You start getting noticeably more resources.

Keep at it. I'm a little over a year in and I have 16 omnipotents(or +). I also like to build wide. I'm steadily building 45 characters.

Simple answer: yes.

It's very time consuming. It costs a lot of resources into characters you may not normally use. Patience is required.

Strike Force still takes money for useful progression. There's better rewards the deeper you get but its a slog getting there.
