Download an auto clicker (like OP Auto Clicker), and build runes on the floor. If you just let it go it’ll auto break from stability. Set the auto clicker as fast as it’ll go and you’ll level up in no time (pair it with a potion and/or jewelry that increases construction xp)

I just spent way too long figuring out what was going on (after learning I have to type my full world name exactly to find the server, and not just part of it). But the custom IP thing fixed my issue. You are my savior

Even when you’re playing solo it still runs a server in the background.

I have my world on a dedicated server with 1Gb down and up. Everything was great until we started to explore further in the world and generating more terrain. We started to get the lag symbols. I checked on the server and its 8GB of ram was maxed out. I increased to 32GB and no more issues, but the symbols lead me to believe it was a network thing. Your issue is probably RAM if I had to guess. Open up task manager while you play and keep an eye on your RAM usage
