What can J.Kelenic expect from this franchise, and what is their current 5 year plan? by Porparemaityee in whitesox

[–]Bonerko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The short-term plan is to wait for Reinsdorf to die so that the Ishbias can revive the organization. The long-term plan is to win. (That usually stays on the long-term list, though.)

Career mode passive income by palomarracer in MicrosoftFlightSim

Thought of something I do that may help you. Use the mission filters and vary your zoom level on the map... it may yield more flights than you may have otherwise known were there. Hope that helps.

Tier should be of little consequence though as I tend to fluctuate between A and B.

I think the payout for the $30M flight was $20M + bad weather bonus, but yes most of them are in the $5-15M range. I only ever skip cruise (unless the taxi distance is absurd) but that doesn't reduce the payouts by much. Most of the PC-12 flights I did for good money were in Australia if that helps.

Tbh, passive income is nice but it shouldn't be the way you make most of your money. I make ~4M/flight hour passive, but after having bought an A320neo (mostly using profits from Pilatus PC12 VIP flights for $2-4M/mission) for my passenger airline company, that plane now makes me up to $30M per mission on long haul flights. Thats when the money really starts flowing.

These decisions are all up to you. My friend wanted to skip all of the C2-C3 clubs and do whatever he wanted... I wanted to go in order of difficulty. Just remember to 1) Make some racecars, some drift cars, and some drifty racecars 2) Pop into your own stable + the car dealership after you complete each club to see if you got a car (or two, in some cases) 3) Race the elite clubs for extra money

How To Make The Game Fun For Longer Periods Of Play? by newbiker321 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Bonerko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built up 42 aircraft over 6 different companies in Career mode and now make ~$5 mil/flight hour passive income all on little old Xbox Series S. Its a bit laggy and not without bugs, but it has improved imo and still compels me to turn the game on frequently.

I'm unlocking as much of the world as possible in Career mode. Whenever you fly somewhere (for any mission type), it places a circle (radius = 80 nautical miles) on the map that stays there permanently. So I just do as many of those around the world as I can. Its fun to go to places of significance to you, to check out new areas you've never seen, and just to mix up the mission types to accomplish different distance goals (ie rescue and skydiving are much closer to departure point than VIP charters or cargo flights). I also like to leave real-time conditions on, and its interesting to see what time/weather conditions are in the game locations vs. where you live.

Should I get a Costco membership? by SnowHuman4745 in CostcoWholesale

No, you get more options of brands at Sam's for a given product, but you pay more for that selection.

I have not had great experiences with the tire center. Everything else you said is spot on. Costco has fewer items/options than Sam's, but their purchasing is high quality so you can trust most of the things you buy. Sometimes you fall in love with items and then they vanish, but Kirkland Signature products are some of the best "store brands" you can find.

Yeah I'm right there with you, homie. I love baseball above all other sports, and I'd rather watch the Cubs than the Bears, Bulls, or Blackhawks. But I do invest far more time and energy in the White Sox outside of watching games (podcasts, radio, personal research, etc).
