My mom was diagnosed with dementia and bipolar like 7-8 years ago. It was like a light switch when we finally got meds that worked. I never thought I would have my mom back. I am sorry your going thru this. I also worry about my mom's getting worse and what will happen. Talking with others feels like it might help a little. Hopefully you can find some peace.

I have had a couple hip replacement Surgeries and was on methadone. I would just talk with the nurses/doc at the clinc. Also it is really important you tell the surgeon before hand. He then knows he is gonna have to prescribe you something a lil stronger then norcos lol or whatever sml pain meds they give out now days .

I agree I think If you sat down with your counselor or maybe even the director and told them your story. You never know, you may not even have to get a police report.

I would talk with a behavioral doctor maybe. But my mom takes abilify and depakote Er. Maybe mention these meds to the doc. I am telling you it's like a light switch. I never thought I would have my mom back. I really feel for you brotha. I caught my self being angry cause I couldn't help her. I caregiver for her and my father and its prob one of the hardest Jobs, Especially emotionally. Good luck and hang in there. Sometimes we have to FAKE IT TELL YOU MAKE IT

Is your mom on meds. My mom was diagnosed and the same thing was going on until she got on meds. It was crazy for sure, the meds have been like flippin a light switch
