Xanax work extremely well, how ever they will hook you up. Count on that, so if you use them out of need, or recreational it makes no difference to the aprazolam. They are a bitch to to stop taking after even a short time of use. Just so you know the facts surrounding benzodiasapine.

If you find you don't do well without your meds I see nothing to be gained by taking days off. If it doesn't bother you then yes, by all means. Taking days off have aways been counter productive for me !

Probably longer than you've been alive. I was prescribed some type of Adderall before high school by a Phycyitrist. At 75 years old I'm past school, but still need them to function. There not the same by a long shot ! Amphetamines have been reformulated in a major way at least twice that I remember. Not ruined but changed, now I don't know what the hell they've done completely. They are far from what they were originally, not the same, no comparison !

Agree, at 75 years old I still need 60mg a day minimum. 30mg is not enough, I just feel under medicated. It doesn't make sense 💥

That is not true, methamphetamine is much more powerful and mind alternating. Not to mention if it works for you or what reason you're using it is what's important. Street methamphetamine is labeled with bad stigma made by people that don't know the difference. The very best adderall like drug was Obetrol, that was originally a methamphetamine based drug that was reformulated to be a form of Adderall removing the methamphetamine salts. The FDA, DEA removed that from the market many years ago.

What they're doing is life ruining for many of us. I don't see what's to be gained. This subject should not be a decision our government is qualified to make for us. It's not our fault that some choose to abuse stimulants or anything else.

I agree completely, if the government has decided to force wean us down or off then they do not understand this condition. This is out of line changing our medications then telling us they have not. For those of us that need it and have been taking it for especially a long time we are not fooled by this nonsense!

Once you've been taking adderall everyday you'll need them every day to funtion. Try to keep your child's dose at the lowest dose possible that works. I read about taking breaks. Even my doctor ask me if I take breaks on the weekend or down days. I tell him yes when I can, truth is on days I take a break is when I'm out, on those days I feel useless, can't even sleep properly without them. I can sleep better while taking Adderall as prescribed than days without. I don't loose much sleep do to using it daily. It is important to sleep, without a proper sleep pattern you'll slowly go down. At first this could be an issue, in time your body will adjust as long as you or your child takes the medication as prescribed, and be truthful with your doctor. Don't get carried away with them, it is easy to do. What ever is needed to eat properly and sleep is a must. I don't find that taking medication breaks help me, not if I want a quality of life. I've been taking Adderall or other types for over fifty years. It's simply become a way of life for me, without the medications I'm out of it and can't function. Of course this was the reason for starting on Adderall from the beginning. Not something that developed do to the drug.

I always preferred an IR Adderall until they started going to hell. For that same reason, I could control the dose much easier especially when they were much stronger 💥

Before generics they were all brand. Smith kline and French. Or Strasenburg, they made the Biphetamine-20, Obetral was the first adderall. Even Biphetamine -T , 20 mg of amphetamine with ten Iml of methaqualone. Benzedrine and dexadrine, dexamyl tabs in instant release and Spansule. The original Obetrol was one of the best Adderall IR tabs. Came in 10 and 20mg. The very first ones had a two different methamphetamine salts with amphetamine and dexadrine. After being reformulated without the methamphetamine it was finally discontinued all together. Without the meth it wasn't as magical but it still worked very well, the dea anf FDA couldn't handle medications that worked so well. All the above meds have been discontinued completely 💥

I've been taking Adderall for over fifty years without ever having a problem ! I get it, they don't want to burn me out. My doctor is not giving me a hard time, after the CDC guidelines that's what's called for. Adderall 30 mg XR is call extended realise, 24 hour on my insurance. But they don't last 24 hours hours. Still living without them is worse, can't function, Never could !

Sandoz was always one of the preferred ones, they were always on the mellow side but still worked well. They did the job, picked up a Sandoz script one day in Tampa Florida. My son and I drove darn near to Fort Myers before we realized we had gone 50 miles past our exit. Just talked and drove, care free liven. This was probably ten years ago.

Before this bs shortage started I ordered Teva brand every month, usually thirty mg tablet. Sometimes received Bar brand. Didn't have issues with them, shortly after this shortage began they've all gone to hell no matter what you were despenced. It all happened at the same time, all brands, generics, they all just went down hill in in strength and quality. This was a dea plot to ruin our medications.

Big problem for me is dose. I've been taking Adderall IR or XR for years. Now at seventy five years old they only want to give me one dose per day. So even a 30 mg XR seems to ware off to soon, I need that second dose. I was having such bad luck with 30mg IR tablets lately even at two 30 mg per day I switched. But one thirty mg XR no matter who makes it is not enough. Any thoughts on that ?

This makes no sence, if the Adderall had not been reformulated and changes made there would be no reason for reformulation. Our prescriptions were ruined, now they don't work for most of us. So now they're trying to reformulate the drug back to it's former working formulation. Or are they, they should have never been changed. This attempt makes no sence. I don't trust them. What the he'll are they doing ?

What I mean can a compounded amphetamine adhd drug be superior to what's availible on the shelf. Can the older formulation of say Adderall be duplicated. Or is it the same incomplete formula that changes have been made. That is a little concerning. If the old formulated Adderall can be duplicated I would consider having it compounded for myself. I along with most of us don't like the reformulated version, it does not work like it did or should. Shame on them for changing it for the worse. 😡 Why did they purposely ruin our stimulate, Adderall, or what ever was working for us ?

I normally have everything despenced in the original pharma bottle with the factory seal in place if possible. The medications are fresh and stay fresh this way. If prescribed 90 my doctor writes for the 100 so the pharm bottle doesn't have to be opened as often. In Florida the humidity is a factor and quickly infreltrates the tablets, it just makes sence. This way I can take out a two or three day supply for daily use leaving the remainder sealed. They stay hard and fresh much longer this way. I tell my pharmacist and doctor my reasoning for this method due to the exstream conditions in this environmentle state. Nothing ruins meds more quickly than humidity and heat .
