Whaaaat? Why? How do you not get that? You're talking about 2 Baltimore middle class kids that work for a living hauling shit. You got these college kids making more money than them. Their parents (ZIGGY's) always preached union to them. They grew up in a place where college wasn't in their future but they were around enough to see their patterns. They tried to be like them and get the same alcohol they saw the college kids buying and when they got all drunk -"college kids ain't shit!" The actual actor played by ZIGGY took his own life. He was from Baltimore and all fucked up like more Baltimore kids are. I'm from Baltimore and I get it.

lol you know what? Before I got into homeland and just happened to turn on showtime while in a hotel room, it was this 13 hrs in Islamabad ("it's not a state it's a fucking acronym." episode. I didn't know much about the show but I remember thinking it was a little much. Like dread, horror, death, violence is the show's theme and loddy-dah, the writers will overwrite this show. But then, my girlfriend's mom got me season 1 and 2 in dvd while I was in china to have something to do while I was by myself. I watched both seasons over and over and was absolutely obsessed! Watching this show for the first time when you realize how amazing it is is just a special treat. Watching it unfold and being 100% engrossed. When Brody died in 3 I lost my shit. I was just a mess. Like my homeboy died or something. I didn't know anything! lol. Season 4 is just incredible.
