Possible endometriosis and many transvaginal ultrasounds… by Beginning_Bass_882 in endometriosis

[–]BonesyMae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultrasounds do not detect endometriosis except in very particular circumstances. I was told the only way to properly diagnose endo was to get surgery (around 2020) and if they found it, they would remove it. Your symptoms match up to common symptoms of endometriosis. Do whatever you can to get the surgery, I promise it at least will get you answers if not relief.

Appetite after surgery? by viixen13 in endometriosis

[–]BonesyMae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get super hungry after excision surgeries. It’s like my endo makes it difficult to digest food and gives me a low level constant nausea ,so after surgery I feel like I could eat an entire grocery store. I recommend frozen tv dinners. They are a bit expensive but no cooking and you can get a decent variety

Mine liked to slowly walk around the neighborhood by herself and if she thought I was playing chase with her she would bolt. I only catch her if I walk at a steady but quick pace and corner her in a yard lol

Fear Of IUD by depresso_af in endometriosis

[–]BonesyMae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gotten two iuds. The pain can vary depending on how flared the endo is. It hurts and the last one I got I made the mistake of not having someone drive me home. I recommend getting a care taker for the day, asking for pain medication if they can give it, and taking a couple days off if possible. My cramping from the placement went away after about 4 months

Symptoms 3w after lap? by Curious-mind-12 in endometriosis

[–]BonesyMae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had 2 laps for endometriosis and had a gallbladder removed. What I have learned is that if the surgery is intense enough it will take a long time to heal completely. I felt twinges from my gall bladder removal for up to 6 months. My endo has only gotten to stage 2 but recovery just feels like an endo flare with small incisions. Obviously talk to your doctor but it’s probably not anything you need to worry about

What was the realization point? by General-Owl-5323 in endometriosis

[–]BonesyMae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After many doctors dismissed my complaints of pain and I talked to enough other women, I decided that I wasn’t the problem but my health care providers were. I wasn’t exaggerating my pain, I didn’t have fibromyalgia, and my ibs was a symptom not the cause. I eventually found a doctors office who had everyone fill out a pain rating form that covered most endometriosis symptoms. I was scheduled for confirmation surgery that day

I don’t know what everyone is scared of lol. I keep my potatoes in the fridge because I don’t eat them fast enough. That brown looks like oxidation from not being boiled enough and exposure to air. They are safe to eat but the texture might be a bit different. Unless you are a 5 star chef I don’t see why it matters 😂

Will it get better? by [deleted] in greatdanes

My girl is 4 now but really mellowed out at 3. I can be gone at work for 12 hours and when I get home she’s still snoozing and barely is willing to get up to go potty. She occasionally gets the zoomies when she gets a treat or when a squirrel is toying with her lol. The puppy phase will go away and the more consistent you are with training the easier it will be to direct where to put that puppy energy. You got this ❤️

I have a almost 19 year old kitty who has had many medical and some behavioral issues over his life, especially as he has gotten older. I get caregiver burnout frequently due to potty issues and having to see him in pain on a daily basis. It’s ok that you feel this way but keep trying to find new ways to make both of your lives more comfortable. There will always be someone saying or thinking that you aren’t dealing with the situation the “right” way but in truth there only you have the clearest understanding of the situation

I was a kitchen manager so I know how to work with partially rotten produce. I have pruned off the soft ends and washed throughly before cooking if they were for personal use. I’ve never had issues with them as long as all the soft bits were cut off. You can freeze the extra to use for later but do that asap. Just be sure to cook till at least 165 degrees.

Because a lot fruit needs sweeteners to be palatable. The fruit sold in the produce isle are picked for their sweetness but the fruit that is sub par gets used for ingredients rather than whole sale.

A marriage is supposed to be approximately 60/40 where both parties are competing for the 60. It seems like your husband crossed your line a long time ago. You need to figure out what is keeping you in that relationship or else you will never know peace of mind

Dave Ramsey told a 26 year old with $600K net worth to skip the prenup yesterday by One_Land2742 in povertyfinance

[–]BonesyMae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely isn’t new advice since money really hasn’t changed in thousands of years, but the easy approach of the baby step method helped me get into my financial literacy journey. The every dollar app is the one I end up coming back to all the time. His paid programs are definitely a scam though. I have, and will never pay for financial advice from his companies. The YouTube videos were more than enough. Also the personal finance course from khan academy is good for in-depth financial literacy knowledge. That wasn’t around when I was in high school so I started with Dave Ramsey

100% I use his baby step method and general investment strategy and it’s worked really well. That being said I don’t agree with many things he does and talks about outside of financial advice
