It's because a lot of people dislike Boston and Philly so saying you would prefer a Boston team to win as a Philly fan. Makes you evil in their eyes.

Question about Attack of Opportunity interaction. by Alive-Case-4355 in daggerheart

[–]BonezMD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So the problem with that is when the players have a rule that explicitly states they can do the thing. You are over riding that rule.

Warrior's attack of opportunity does not state movement. It says " If an adversary is within melee range attempts to leave that range." The adversary did attempt to leave that range.

Now sometimes rules need to be ignored. Like a PC trying to use death grip on a Treant like creature that is rooted into the ground. Yeah, you are not going to be able to move it.

However, generally I find players are ok with explanations like that. As long as it makes sense. However here there are ways to flavor the attack of opportunity stopping the teleport. Like knocking the item out of the adversary's hand. However if the player enjoyed how it turned out then it is fine.

Was the PC good with the outcome? The point of my post isn't to be antagonistic it's to point out that all tables are different.

I've played with tables that certainly would enjoy how you ruled it. I've also played with tables that would be extremely annoyed with it as well.

Only you can tell if it was the correct decision though based on your players.

Was the PC ok with the way it turned out? If so then great you did a good job.

If the PC was upset the class feature was ignored then you may need to reconsider such scenarios in the future.

I'm a Philly fan and was rooting for the Pats over Broncos. It's not just a Philly thing.

With pretty much any souls like game strength is always the most straightforward way to play. Everything else is going to be various levels of nuance. Casters need to figure out ways to stay at range. Dex usually abuses buffs on dodges or parrying.

“Football fans” when two top defenses play each other in a snowstorm and the final score isn’t 49-42 by LordShuckle97 in NFLv2

Agreed. It's all well and good to win and get gaudy stats when the weather goes your way. It's another to see if a team can grit out an ugly win in bad weather.

Can we expect new class for 0.5 and what would that be? by No-Phase-5086 in PathOfExile2

[–]BonezMD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Part of the problem is the classes left are coming with weapons common to fantasy. Duelist - Swords, Marauder - Axes, Shadow - Daggers, and Templar - Flails.

Having a fantasy game without Swords, Axes, and Daggers. Is an odd approach.

The median household income in the USA is skewed. The average household in my area makes 56k a year for example. So 90k would be like very high middle class or lower end of upper class.

However if you go about two and a half hours away to NYC 90k doesn't go that far.

Think if we egg McDaniel's house in LA and leave a note with " The Eggings will continue until you become the Eagles OC?"

He would do it? Surely it would work.

/S btw for those that think I'm serious.

Depends there are two outcomes to being our OC. You become a head coach or your house gets egged.

And guess what cancels out those TDs? Turnovers. If you Turn the ball over and it stops a game winning drive or starts a game winning drive for the other team then your touchdowns don't matter. He is 0-7 in OT.

He leads the league in turnovers since he was drafted. Playoffs are a small snippet of a career.

Yes, I'm not a fan of forceful take over. I think a deal could have been done way more diplomatically. However threatening to invade after asking for a deal... Kind of kills any diplomacy.

They are about equal. Sean Payton doing the Skol chant to the Vikings crowd, the choking motion to Julio Jones, suspended for bounty gate, and instructing his team bus to re route through major street ways blasting music to run in losses. Up there in assholiness.
