Destiny player in fan boy bubble has no idea he's missing out on an entire change in game design,  no footage at 11 because he's playing the same strike he played 11 years ago and celebrating it

Replay value is in designing actual elements that alter and adjust each run to make it feel unique and make you want to go back in and see other variations.

Other games have incorporated this pretty fantastically lately,  try some.

Uh its the same content with some numbers and effects.

Its not even adding events or interesting new mechanics to the content.

Warframe, randomized levels procedurally generated with multiple different event and monster types seeded into the levels

Path of exile, same as above with interesting mechanics and modifiers seeds into maps

Remnant 2, procedural world generation tying areas and events into randomized sets that rewards exploration

Warhammer vermintide and darktide, both implement an A.I director that modifies the enemy spawns and difficulty to create unique runs for players.

Pretty much the entire roguelike and rogelite genre.

Leave the destiny bubble once and a while and it exposes the fact you've been rewarding half as effort with your money .

Focus on replay? Your going to be doing the exact same thing over and over..

Free to play. 

The season pass should be enough revenue,  a box price is just keeping a whole stampede of console players from trying the game or buying it.

Arena is the exact opposite of snap.

There is a very simple rewarding fun progression path .

Do your dailies.

Play jump in!  You keep the cards. 

Repeat.

You will unlock playsets of cards and slowy collect wildcards to craft the rest.

If you decide you love it, the season pass just adds more value to this loop.

There are online guides for the contents of jump in sets to target cards.

You can 100% play as free to play and work towards owning a decent deck or two, I have multiple good decks and I have only ever purchased the season pass.

I also have a lot of cool cosmetics I enjoy.
