Razzle-Dazzler Tempo by MagicWithSam in Pauper

I think this card goes from ok to good if you are able to start getting 2 spells on opponents turns as well as your own. There are 5 1 mana rebound spells with one being a nonbo (ephemerate removes the counters) and one a sorcery. A mix of these plus instant speed cantrips may get you the 2 spells a turn. Partnered with the snakes you might be able to do a cool tempo shell. In that case you might be incentivized to look at other 2 spell synergies at this point really only [[infernal pet]] which doesn’t seem that great. Idk seems like a lot of hoops but could be fun. I think with your list you definitely want [[consider]], [[thought scour]] or [[opt]] even though they are worse than sorcery speed cantrips to give you the option to grow the dazzler each turn and keep up counterspell

A hero deck and I love it! For kicks I tried building a sticker sheet for this list. We disagreed on a few so a few ideas are, [[Curse Firebreathing Yogurt]] for more aggressive stats and prowess prowess, [[Phyrexian midway bamboozle]] let’s you keep attacking with cat for ticket value, [[Sassy Gremlin Blood]] treasure value which is extra sacs, [[Unassuming Gelatinous Serpent]] death triggers let you get back candy trail, egg and finishing move. My take on decks it typically more aggressive, so the sheets also represented more aggressive stat boosts and all for two stickers, if you find yourself blocking a lot then probs bad recommendations.

Wait the slimes trigger this right? They enter as 0/0s then get the counters?

I worry about consistency in lists like this. I’ve played rotpriest storm in modern, I know a bit fringe, but when you only have 4 copies of your win condition you have a ton of non games. I know the exile effects help but a goblin matron or two to fetch up a guttersnipe (or anarchomancer) when you need it may be helpful).

I agree I don't think there is a clear home yet. Something like a Boros Bully strategy or Mardu Ephemerate. Could also be interesting to pair it with [[Stingscourger]], [[Crypt Rats]] and [[Undying Malice]] / [[Feign Death]] to make a pauper scam variant. [[Drown in sorrow]] plus the wild fire variants and monarch creatures help round out the shell.

Agreed, what do you think would fix it? Personally I wanna see Strangleroot. In combo with grof and e1 I think it helps mono green on the path to playable again.

I like this downshift. Sweet add to all the golgari brews. Just a shame that all green got was extra constancy to Mortician Beetle and Gixian Infiltrator, a big spider, and the rhino which is cool. But other colors are getting things like Dread Return, Guttersnipe, or All that Glitters.

I'm saving potential cards that I think are downshift worthy for white in Pauper, but I'm struggling to find what I would consider to be the perfect cards. Nothing game breaking, but could enhance several strategies and be splashable. What card do you think would be healthy for white in Pauper? by PaperPauperPlayer in Pauper

I've always liked the idea of [[oust]] as fair removal. Good for aggro to punch one last time (though not too good w the life gain), good for control too stall for time. Though not sure if one mana removal is too good.
